Customers are saying

Customers highly value the Drive 60LMT's large, easy-to-read screen and the helpful traffic updates, which often provide alternative routes and accident alerts. The device is also praised for its user-friendly interface and clear voice guidance. While some users experienced occasional GPS inaccuracies, the positive feedback on other features outweighs these concerns.

    Good GPS

With the smart phone being used for near everything, why buy a GPS? Well if you ever have been in a zone with no phone coverage, and you have to find your way, the answer is clear. It does not seem to get rapid updates regarding road conditions, and only flags problems when you are close and can't change the route to avoid. It also flags things on the road ahead (i.e object in the road in 5 miles) that are never there. This device also does not appear to properly use the expanded memory card properly. I had to delete languages, icons and other stuff to fit the maps and waypoint saved on my previous version. I have also had to reset and update the maps and software when it lost it's brain one time. When it works, it performs well.

Really good Garmin. Doesn't have the latest bells and whistles like backup camera connection or WiFi network capability, but I don't need those. What it does have is 'what's near' - new since my last Garmin. It shows what's ahead like food and gas miles before the blue signs you may be hoping for. Very helpful. And I alway like speed limit notifications, exit signs, everything! While I could use my phone for navigation, I'd rather not have it tied up doing something else while driving in unknown areas. Plus the Garmin is more accurate - maps and navigation is their primary business and phones are not. Plus I can take the Garmin in any car to include rentals. And I've bought other maps like Southern England. You can buy maps for National Parks and so many other things. They're so versatile that I'll probably always have one. One down-check is that the battery was so low, its logic did not work. When trying to charge it, it kept telling me I was using the wrong cable. I left it connected overnight, and by morning it was acting normal. I was worried initially, but ignoring the incorrect error and just leaving it alone to charge up was all it needed. No problems since.

I like using the Garmin GPS system better than my in-dash navigation because of the live traffic, and more accurate road and hi way off ramp directions. I would have given it five stars if it had voice control.

It's Going Back to Best Buy

Have had several Garmins and generally found them to be quite good. This one, however, has been a major disappointment and will be going back to Best Buy as soon as I get home from this trip. Twice I've been following the visuals on the map, only to have voice commands suddenly give contradictory instructions, not a good thing in heavy traffic in unfamiliar territory. It also tends to unexpectedly turn off; sometimes it automatically comes back on but other times it must be manually turned back on and the destination has to be reset. Several of the trip planning features seem to have take a step backward from the last Garmin I owned.

I really love this GPS, it is so easy to use, a great experience with nothing to set up, and I love that fact that I'm not constantly hearing "recalculating" each time I take a turn off the mark.

Reliable and accurate. Took an effort for the initial setup but the issue may have been my laptop. Works well and is easy to read with the big screen size.

Product was purchased to replace a older and smaller Garmin product. Easy to use and program. Only concern is like all other suction cups on products sometimes it does not hold for long periods of time. The GPS unit is very good and has life time map updates which is a definite plus.

Had a Garmin but don't know what the problem was thought that it didn't download the updates correctly. So decided to purchase the Garmin - Drive 60LMT 6" GPS with Lifetime Map Updates and Lifetime Traffic Updates such a good deal with the Deal of the Day. Very happy with this unit.

Exactly what I wanted from a Garmin GPS. Shows speed limit (yours and the highway speed) and has a nice size screen. Lifetime updates are also a plus.

Upgraded my current Garmin for traveling. Have used it in 5 different states already and it has nailed it. From traffic updates to plenty of notice where to be in traffic lanes. Great purchase for sure.

Great display and sound. Was way over priced. went on sale for almost 75.00 off than what I paid. Thanks to Best Buy policy, I got a refund for the difference. Has all the basic functions that Garmin units have. Memory of 2GB is kind of low. after updating the maps and other info, I only had 7k mb left. no Bluetooth. Disappointing. No where it tells one on the site how to move some of the data to the micro memory card.
