Very happy with decision to go with the Garmin DriveAssist. Not only is the GPS functionality top of the line as it is Garmin but the Dashcam works great. Great travel lapse functionality for trips. Easily connects to phone via blue tooth with Garmin SmartLink app that brings real time traffic.

I bought this model because it had the dash cam. Highly recommended!!! Easy setup!!!!

I was tired of my GPS on my phone draining my battery and didn't have a way to mount it. Plus I need a dash cam to protect me for work. This had both. I have been using it for months now and I am very happy with it. Its accuracy is not as good a Google maps but it gets me close

Only had this gps for a short time, I've been traveling so haven't had time to use it. So far what I've seen, love it does everything i want. One small complaint if you use it with a bean bag dash mount, the mount blocks the camera, I'm still working on that problem.

like the features and will probably purchase the back up device to go w/ this for added safety.

I have owened meny GPS's but this is the best by far. The dash cam is a plus.

The collision warnings are great! Love that you can use your mobile device with it.

My very old Garmin died. I looked at other brands but they could not beat all the features of my new Garmin - DriveAssist 51 LMT-S 5" GPS with Built-In Camera and Bluetooth, Lifetime Map Updates and Lifetime Traffic Updates It is so well equipped that I am assured of arriving at my destination without circling around endlessly. Many features that make navigation a breeze.

Easier to program, free updates. I am very pleased with this product!

A larger screen would be nice. Picture quality is good both day and night.

I've had an old Garmin GPS for many years and used it regularly to find locations and plan trips, very pleased with it, but this new one is unbelievable. It seems to know and see everything, speed limits, traffic lanes, other vehicles, construction zones .... Everything. And the camera is very sharp. I bought two more for gifts for family.

Works excellent and is easy to operate. Easy to program.

I love that it has a camera. I love all the warnings such as the "forward collision indicator" and it lets you know when traffic has started moving again (just in case you aren't paying attention). It is easy to zoom in and out. I also love the new turn directions such as turn right at the stop sign or turn left past the Home Depot.

I know, why do you want to have a seperate GPS any more, when map programs are on you phone? Simple. New laws in Illinois dont even let you touch your phone when driving. But you can still touch a GPS! Garmin GPS units are simple, easy to use, and work great in the City, around all of the high rises.

I needed to update my 9-year-old Garmin, which I've used over the US, Canada and Puerto Rico (I travel over 50% of the year and the GPS comes with me everywhere). After looking at ALL the competitors, it was clear that Garmin was the only one that gave me that much coverage. (don't use your phone in Canada: roaming charges run hundreds of dollars for a 3-day trip). this one has lots of nice new features. voice commands are sometimes moody, but I still would have given it 5 stars if I could have transferred my saved locations from the old one. Ford sync system is problematic with all GPS Bluetooth units I've heard. but it's worked wonderfully on all my rental cars. Make sure you download the apps: you can send addresses from your contacts.

I will give the most honest review I can . I own several Garmin and TomTom GPS receivers and this is as accurate as I can make it . Voice recognition on this GPS is painfully bad. The simplest requests would return the most bizarre reply . It was pure torture listening to the reply it would come up with . The second thing was it's final reminder for an exit for instance would come too late. I own several Garmin GPS receivers and they all have this problem . Within a few hours I missed several exit ramps . My TomTom that I also have several never ever caused me to miss a ramp or exit . If Garmin could combine the best features of each product it would be a good GPS . I was hoping they got it right this time , but like my other Garmin receivers , they all have this weakness.I'm sorry to say I cannot recommend it . Perhaps if you never own another GPS you wouldn't know the difference . It has features like built in dash cam that I like . But the optional rear view camera is half the price of the GPS. The only good thing I can say is it combines a dash cam and a GPS in one unit . However I was so turned off by the poor GPS operation I had to return it . I never even had time to evaluate the camera .

I bought this for my grandson who was going out of state for college. So much safer and more informative than using his cell phone. We have the larger Garmin / GPS dash cam and wouldn't drive without it. Map updates are free and traffic alerts are extremely helpful.
