These days it's hard to justify buying a stand alone GPS unit. But I was taking a significant road trip in my classic convertible and using my phone just wasn't convenient. Plus, if you find yourself in an area with no cell service the GPS stops working. This is not your father's GPS. It locks onto satellites almost immediately after powering on. It has virtually every feature you can think of (and a couple you never would). And it's performance was exceptional. The only real negative I found was the placement of the camera. If you use a dash mount (meaning the attachment point is below the unit) as opposed to a windshield mount the camera will be completely blocked by the mounting post. This struck me as a monumentally stupid design flaw in an otherwise remarkable device.

Great GPS....works well, accurate and loaded with maps...also pretty good on traffic and map updates. Plenty of space and memory to do an accurate job. Beats the built in GPS in truck that is so basic....this Garmin is detailed with lots of POI and whatnot.

this gps is very driver friendly, with its large screen, lane assist and traffic updates. not very happy with the suction cup mount, which pops off the glass when it’s cold outside!

The camera feature is definitely clear. It has an easy access to a screen shot which would come in handy when needed. The only problem is the navigation feature which is the primary purpose for this GPS. There are times when this GPS can't find addresses... so I have to use the app on my phone. Another feature missing is using the "Intersection" instead of exact address. That feature is available on some models but not on this.

Fast and easy set-up, I have used Garmin GPS in the past so it probably helps that I am used to their general operating systems. Garmin allows easy entry of destination info, the screen updates fairly quickly, the map presentations are nice. I did have difficulty with the lane departure warning - it seemed that regardless how I adjusted it I kept getting warnings so I ultimately turned that off. I also need to find out how to turn off the weather warnings - I keep getting annoying warnings of "high winds" every day even when it is nice out. I like having the camera recording just in case something happens.

I purchased this unit for use in rental cars while traveling. It works great without any lagging or delays. It provides for pre-programing addresses for a particular city which saves time and is very convenient. The voice command and traffic info features are excellent.

I use this for tracking my travels for tax deductions. Camera great for accident protection. It has a lot of features, too close, traffic moving, t\stay in your lane.

Excellent GPS and also serves as a rearview cam which is very useful when driving my 15 passenger van. The GPS function is of course Garmin level. It really isn't as useful in the age of smartphones but we still love to use it.

It’s great that you can video your trip and in case there is an accident.

Has a great camera to view and gives better directions or alternate routes then having to use Google maps. I own 2 of them and before that had another one for over 5 years and to update it is easy.

This is so much better than trying to use my phone. Nice to use in vehicles that don't have a built in system. Used it on a trip to Texas/New Mexico line, and couldn't have asked for a better system. Highly recommend, easy to use.

The latest GPS from Garmin has all of the bells and whistles and is significantly better than our last one. The only thing we don't like is that to get traffic you must use your smart phone and an app which burns data.

Great picture from camera, takes a week or so of getting use to but It's been great so far, highly recommend fir someone driving a lot of miles

This thing is incredible. It has facilities my 5 year old Garmin dreamed about at night. It hooks to my Smart Phone and gives me traffic updates as I drive. Built in camera for recording road rage incidents! :) What more could you ask?

Works absolutely great! The quality is more than I expected. I love the voice feature as well. However, there are still features to check out. It's very easy to use and it displays a accurate information.

This product has so many features and is priced well. It works so well and I I wouldn't have bought any other. I walked into the store and asked a tech what the best gps was he had in the store and this is what he recommended.

The built in camera works incredible. These version has also an updated software, that includes new features for a more complete mapping. It's very easy and friendly.

I’m surprised at how clear the pictures and videos are.
