It's better than my previous Garmin. I find voice command & automatic wifi-updates pretty useful.

I travel constantly ( new areas weekly) and love the ability to know what is ahead. It's much better than using your phone, safer too. This is my second garmin. Nuvi was the first, and worked flawlessly until she took a fatal dive off my windshield in the heat (all my fault). So this 51 has a few upgrades that I like, and still gets me where I'm going safely and quickly.

This is a very good navigational system. Awesome Navigation device.

Easier to use than my Garmin that was stolen. Good screen...easier to input out of state addresses.

Pro: touch screen is very responsive (like an iPad). Con: It seems that "Smart features" basically require smart phone all the time.

I purchased this Garmin to replace my old Garmin which was one of the first that came out. The price was wonderful it was on sale It's easy to program. I used it coming home from our trip and it showed us new short cuts we had no clue were their. I don't have a smart phone so this is the ticket. Highly recommend this product. My last one lasted over 10 years and still works just outdated. This has lifetime updates also a plus.

I though it would come with a charger for home wall outlets?  It did not just one for the car can only be charged when the car is on

Purchased a new GPS after many years with the same brand. The technology advances are quite impressive. This GPS has many impressive capabilities that are well worth the extra money.

Bought this item as a Christmas present for my dad. He loves it! He's a truck driver and says that it makes his job more efficient by arranging drop-offs and monitoring traffic. Plus, it has an easy to understand customer interface. So glad I bought this item and not a more expensive version. Good bang for the buck!

I haven't had a new GPS in several years. I like that this alerts the driver when you go over the speed limit. I love the voice command feature! Only thing I don't like it not being able to use it while the car is moving. Some times my daughter is my copilot and I haven't figured out how to by pass the safety feature so she can use it while I'm driving.

Great navigator, easy to use with great visuals. Beats using the cell phone for navigating!

It works so well in my 2008 Camry. Easy to use and has already prevented an accident!

We bought this GPS to use in the rig as compared to the one imbedded in the truck. It has been great it is very accurate with traffic and lets you enter all the specs for your truck and load. Only down side is that when I’m traffic it does not tell you why it is rerouting it just does it all of the sudden and it likes to pull the phone in the truck onto Bluetooth and away from my headphones.

It gets you to your destination. Sometimes, I ignore the direction for various reasons. As expected, it would redirect you assuming you have no idea of the route. I have yet to try the voice control. Regarding bluetooth, I could not get it to cooperate or co-exist with my car bluetooth; it took over. The quality of the voice call from my vehicle is much clearer and cleaner than the Garmin. So I had to disable the bluetooth.

Very easy to use. Quick acquisition of satellite signals. Screen is the perfect size.

Purchased to replace old broken unit. Works flawlessly and I dig the bluetooth feature.
