This is the 3rd Garmin GPS that I have purchased over the years. Second for my use and my Wife still uses hers. They make a really good product. My only reason for giving 4 and not 5 stars is the Free Traffic. It is a little sketchy on whether it is giving updated info or not, but that may be an issue with the signal it receives and not the unit itself.

This Garmin replaced my old one that had stopped working. It works great! It does everything I need.

It’s very useful and easy to use and the Bluetooth makes it update so roads are always correct.

Love this GPS. It was very easy to set up, the touch screen is very responsive, love the lifetime traffic updates. Very nice GPS for the price!

The DriveSmart 51-LMT-5 works well as a GPS and route planner. It also serves as a receiver for a Garmin back-up camera, which is why I bought it.

This is my 4th Garmin. Just when I though I would not buy GPS anymore I saw this working and I am very please with it. Cons: still because of a fight with google or I do not what, it does not communicate with google maps so you can choose the road on your computer. big disappointed with that, Garmin software is not that good with maps as Google is. But at least it allows to interact with my phone which is a big Pro.

Alot of new features I was very impressed! Very happy with this and very glad I bought this! Picks up satellite very easy. Gives very detailed information.

I have already used my GPS and am happy with it. I found it very user friendly. I was able to search out shopping centers and restaurants.

Garmin is easy to use and program. I have always purchased Garmin and this is most favorite so far.

Overall very nice. It seemed a little difficult to change the planned route from what it wanted you to do.

Fits nicely on my dashboard and easy to use. Color lines to follow and easy to understand to see where to turn when needed! I love using it!!!!

I like this GPS system more than my last one because it not only lets you know when you need to turn, but it also gives you landmarks to look for prior to the turn. This is nice when you aren't able to see the street name ahead. The one down side is that the "voice activated" address instructions don't work real well. you have to say the address so many times and it rarely gets it right. It doesn't seem to matter how slow or distinct you are.

I needed a new GPS for times when I am out of cell phone range and bought this one based on some positive reviews on line. But I discovered that many of the features (most importantly Live Traffic) required linking your cell phone. Well, my phone is usually linked to my car's information center, so I can't link it to the GPS as well. I needed to get a different GPS (Garmin DriveSmart 50) which doesn't need to be linked to the phone.

a must have for the times when cell phone loses signal. all the information you need when traveling.

The product is working fine and meets my expectation. No issues - updates are easy to complete

Love the voice commands, the updated map’’s accuracy and the various “find” features. Makes finding your way in unfamiliar areas easy.

Bought as a birthday gift for my son. The options and ease of use are great. He is very happy with it.

Love this GPS and the traffic feature has saved me many times as it automatically re-routes you to avoid a back up.
