Worked out well. Screen is easy to see. Directions are clear- much better than the directions on my car GPS. Only issue is the suction cup holder didn’t work very well. Need to buy a better/separate one

They still do not have the voice recognition down pat and sometimes it goofs up some of the simplest words. The routing feature seems to be improving over previous models.

I was 2 blocks from a hotel and Google had me U turn and go to another hotel several miles away. I had to drive out of San Antonio and drive back to get the right Hotel. From a co-workers Garmin from the same location they were sent to the front door. I purchased this as soon as I arrived home.

This one lets you know where traffic situations are but I have not found a way for it to automatically give an alternate route to get around the traffic problem.

There are two options; the device will automatically calculate an alternate route or an on-screen prompt will appear offering the ability to route around the delay. I tend to travel where there is no cell coverage and don't like to plan a trip in advance and just wander. Many of the places I end up are on a whim so the notifications of upcoming services is a great feature when you don't have cell access to lookup food, gas, etc.
