Screen is plenty big , even though it is the smaller model . Wifi update works good , though it needs an adapter to plug in the house. Voice activation is ok , sometimes can't get what you are saying . If you want good traffic updates , you have to pair with your cellphone . Otherwise you must buy the 60 dollar cord to get a less effective , old school traffic . Still ok .

Works well with a smartphone for hands-free talking.. Works well with back camera . Wish I had held out for larger screen Doesn't seem to have a detour button

It works well however i had to return 2 of them of because after about a week they did not turn on. This one appears to be working ok. I love how it works.

Great upgrade Garmin Easy to use and install Services our needs

This replaced an older but great Magellan GPS. I like some of the features on this one: red camera alert, school zone alert. I can’t find an address book of already entered addresses. I found it tricky entering new addresses, and had to start over again several times. The voice is loud and clear. Street names are not quite as large as on my older GPS. I miss having a sound signal to indicate when you turned correctly or a warning sound when you missed a turn. It recalculates when I made a mistake, but I only was sure by glancing at the device.

Great GPS. Has lots more features than my old GPS. I like it gives you a heads up on up coming curves, speed limits, and other road conditions. Ask you if you need a break after driving 2 hours.

Have had only one issue with this, it was searching for satelite but it works well. I can't wait to use it where there is no phone service.

This gps is accurate, compact and easy to use. The interface is bright and it has a night mode.

It works great. Gets me where I need to go eventually. It argues about the route you are taking and call you stupid when you do not take the route it plans for you, even if that route takes you in a BIG circle. This can be entertaining or frustrating. Do like the blue tooth for my phone on my older model car, so I can be hands free.

This GPS has a large colorful screen. The graphics are clear and it has lots of options and helpful pop ups for gas, food, rest areas, etc.

Really impressed with this Garmin and all the features it had for the money. Also very easy to transfer all my saved addresses from my old unit to the new one via Garmin’s instructions.

Lacks congestion feature my old one had, but I didn’t have time to research ~ overall though I am quite pleased with my purchase

Brought as an update to the Nuvii, love Garmin products. They are better than the TomTom. Garmin is far more user friendly in my view, the only thing we had trouble with was the initial setup, for some reason it would not load from the pc. When the Garmin did load, it was in Spanish...go figure! I only tested around the city, works great!!!

Had several TomTom GPS units and they did not stand up to their name. I’ve used this Garmin GPS system and is simple to use.

I bought this Garmin after doing some research. I chose this one because it has everything you need at a reasonable price It can also fit in your pocket and not to bulky.

Our old Garmin quit and there is no way one can find their way around a new large city without one. This one is great--lifetime maps & traffic updates. I noticed they did away with the annoyed sounding "RECALCULATING" when you take a side trip. One thing Garmin could do that would really help is to put the "Save" option right up front instead of hidden two menu options away. This one does great and is easy to set up.

The voice commands are clear ; maps are simple and securing satellite is rapid.

I've owned multiple Garmin GPS units. I drive 200 plus miles a day for my ambulette and can have up to 10 stops a daily and this unit is by far the best one I have used. The screen is high quality, the unit is very quick and with the wireless software and hardware updates. The voice control is awesome. The only problem so far is the unit shuts off and powers back on sometimes. I need to find out why, It would be nice to find a bluetooth head set to work with this unit.

I actually preferred the older version of this gpsbut my son sat it in water for 2 days unaware so I had to replace it. I had it for 10+ years without issues. So am hoping I’ll have this one just as long. Seems fairly easy to use however I don’t like the power cord hook up. On the old version the hook up was located on the window mount so when the unit was removed from the mount the cord stayed with the mount safe and secure. There was another cord to plug gps into house power source. This new version the car cord is plugged into back of unit so always need to fiddle with plugging back in instead of just snapping unit onto window mount and going. Also this one is more difficult to attach and remove from window mount and the power button is hard to get to once mounted. The screen can get confusing on this new one and shows turns on thruway too early so easy to take wrong exits. Haven’t found anything I like over the old version hoping I will. Still seems to be a good device. Older version was much better though IMO.

Instructions are for the most part easy to understand and the visuals and print and color visuals are excellent.
