purchased this garmin for use as a back up when there is no cellular connectivity. performed ok the few times that I needed it when i drove across the USA from California and back. the expansion of cell coverage reduced the need significantly. the only knock is that i dont like how the live traffic works. all in all, i am still happy with the purchase and that i have it for emergencies.

Gps volume good with blue tooth, messages easy setup and use. Sinks with cell phone app,weather, transfer directions from phone to gps easy thru bluetooth.

This is an excellent GPS. This was my first time buying a GPS. I really had a fear of getting lost in unfamiliar areas and this device gave me the confidence I needed to travel anywhere. It has up-to-date information. If you miss your turn it recalculates your destination very quickly so you can get back on track. It calculates your speed and gives alerts when you go over the speed limit in certain areas. It even alerts when you should reduce speed in school zones. Very easy to use. You can save addresses for later use. Even if you don't know the address of a store or restaurant, if you type in the name of the place, it will tell you the location. I highly recommend this product and never leave home without it.

I purchased this Garmin Drive Smart and have been totally happy with it so far. Also comes with free map updates and it was easy to turn on and use the unit right out of the box. the only drawback so far is the short battery life. Other than that I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a GPS.

I bought this after my friend recommended it. It jas in built bluetooth, lifetime traffic and map update which is the main reason I bought this GPS. IT VERY GOOD WITH CLEAR DRIVING INSTRUCTION.

I got this for a very reasonable price from price matching to other online store. My husband needs one since he started his new job which requires a lot of driving. His company car doesnt have a navigation so i got for him. So far he likes it. He used to have the old one, so having a smart one, he is really impressed. He likes that it has voice command and he can take pictures from it and he said he can make phone calls thru using the bluetooth. So far he didnt say anything negative yet, so lets see.

Scored this Garmin Drivesmart 51 LMT-S when BB had it on sale after my old Garmin died after many years of service. Have only used it a couple of times but it works QUITE well! It's much faster than the old one and very easy to set up. It even updated all my favorite destinations. One thing I noticed is that it displays a photo of the freeway sign that you need to watch for, indicating your exit - an excellent feature! Money well spent! Highly recommended!!

This is my third GPS unit I've had over the past 10 years, and it works very well. Lifetime updates, Voice Command is very helpful so you can do hands free routing, weather, traffic.

I'm a fedex driver and i bought the Garmin drivesmart 51 thinking it would do what i need it to. I asked the salesrep if it had the trip planner app which it does. The trip planner app wont download my fedex routes. Other drivers have other garmin devices it works fine on. I figured it might just need updated so i did that which i waited two hours for. After trying the update it still wont install my routes into the trip planner app. It makes no sense to me that other garmin devices work but mine doesn't.

For the longest time I used Waze for directional guidance, but I noticed that over last year, it wasn't performing as well as it used to, especially for long distance trips. I decided to purchase a new Garmin (my old one was about 10 years old). I hadn't planned the model I bought, but it provided a few extras that I'm glad I did get it. It bluetooths to me mobile phone and gives me real time traffic, traffic cams, weather etc. I took a long distance trip, about 600 miles, and ran both my Garmin and Waze. The Garmin was more accurate and provided a much faster route. I would definitely recommend this product.

Out 12 year old garmin just died on us and I wanted one with the same features. This far exceeds the old one, it is thinner, lighter and the screen resolution is much better. In addition, when you approach a complicated intersection, it gives you a split screen with a shot of the intersection and lane markers for where you should be. Sometimes in busy urban areas there is a lag time on your directions, but this solves that issue. I still use WAZE for some things, but this doesn't hog your data and is so user friendly. I can't wait to schedule my free set up with Geek Squad which was just another perk that came with this.5 Stars all the way!

Excellent product. Product does completely what they stated it would. It has exceeded all my expectations, is simple to use, very accurate and I would recommend it to anyone.

This unit have all the features I could ever want and more. The display is very good and easy to see and read. I only used my last Garmin whenever I flew out of town but this one is so nice I prefer it to the in-car navigation in my vehicle and have started using it instead.

Best GPS I ever had!! And the voice guidance you don't have to type anything unless you want too. Great navigation tells you which lane to go in and so much more love it!!

I have a Garmin that's about 10 years old and wanted an updated one with Canadian maps. As with all Garmins, the interface is very intuitive and I like the fact that it has voice activation and lifetime maps. I tried out the voice activation and it seems to work well.

I originally bought this system for use when I travel. However after setting it up I found it was faster and more accurate then the system that is built into my 2017 Auto. As an added bonus I picked it up on sale, but even at the normal price it would still be worth the money. My only complaint is at certain times if the sun hits it just right, the glare prevents you from seeing anything.

The GPS is easy to use and setup like any other Garmin. It has a lot of features but I don't use them. The main thing was the map and updates and they don't disappoint. It's a great portable device but useless without a charger since it can't stay charged for long.

works great for what I wanted. The map show me where I am and what road are close to me when I go off the known path. Would recommend this as a good buy
