Very easy to setup and use. Takes the stress out of driving unfamiliar roads.

Do not like companies policy of requiring manuals to be downloaded. A minimal amount of information in a bound instruction guide should be included with the purchase.

I've owned multiple Garmin GPS units during travel for work and this unit is by far the best one I have used. The screen is high quality, the unit is very quick with the software and the voice control is a great feature.

Easy to program multiple stop route-a feature which I had hard time finding on other GPS. Also really like the optimize route feature to help save time and fuel.

I returned this item only because i wanted to get a bigger screen, otherwise this was extremely helpful GPS with lane assistance, especially when those tricky interchanges come up so quickly on highway overpasses. Highly recommend it, its pricey but worth it i didn't miss a turn going to Ontario Canada from downstate NY

Was needing a product that offered alternate routes for a young adult having to drive into metro/highway traffic for the first time and didn't know her way around the city. She opted not to link to her cell phone to the unit for the traffic updates and ahead of time alt route options. But as soon as she decided to exit highway due to lane closures this system did exactly what we purchased it for and automatically changed her route and guided her where she needed to be! Perfect for her and a nervous mother!

It's not perfect but it does what it's supposed to. I don't mind it piggy backing on my phones data for the traffic cuz I have unlimited service but for those of you who don't, you might want to think about buying the traffic antenna/charger cable. The devices alerts are pretty good except for the construction zones....

I got this to replace an old 5" Magellan unit that I'd had for about seven years. By way of comparison this new Garmin unit boots up quickly, responds to inputs much faster, and has Bluetooth and WiFi integration. Voice commands are also pretty reliable. I've been using it for a couple days, and I'm happy so far.

I really like the Garmin DriveSmart 41. The lifetime map upgrade is a bonus and will save you money in the long run. I was a little skeptical about the traffic updates, but it works perfectly. The size of the screen and color make the gps easy to see and read. The only issue I have is that I wish there were more voices to use for the system. The primary voice seems a little bit too slow and robotic to me.

Got this as a replacement for a non-working GPS. This has nice features and like other Garmin products, is easy to use.

I love it it gets me where i want to go.I've been driving all around and feel confident i'll get where i want to.

Would recommend to a friend. Good value for the price. Easy to use and understand. Unit is accurate and dependable

I'm very please with my purchase of the Garmin DriveSmart 51 LMT-S 5" GPS. I used it on a trip to NY recently and it worked flawlessly. Having the North American maps (Canada) & having it convert to KPH was a great feature. It's a great traveling companion for the road! It does everything a little better than my older Garmin unit. Having a Garmin account set up all of my favorites from my old unit was transfered to the new DriveSmart 51 LMT-S 5.

Works great. Four stars due to voice command being a little clunky. Traffic alerts will need another cord. Don't waste your time though. Doesn't work that great. Worked well to eliminate using data on my cell phone. Large screen helps visibility for an older guy whose eyesight is going downhill.

Seems to be little less efficient than Waze. I like the wifi updates, and if you connect to the app on your phone, it provides realtime traffic.

This is the 2nd garmin unit that I have purchased and am very impressed with the quality and usability of this product also like the ability to hook up the backup camera and sync up with my phone

Easy to use by my wife great directions and updates are constant

This was purchased as a Christmas gift. Won’t be able to use it until then. Review based on my husband’s garmin which he is very happy with.
