Bought this item right before my wife taking a trip. Being able to speak to the device helped a lot. According to my wife the maps and device were not up to date even though we updated them before she left and checked again after she returned - the maps were up to date per the application. I will continue to test this as it seems to be a powerful unit and it provides a lot of the features we need. I would recommend this unit with the caveat that the owner needs to take time to learn the device thoroughly as it is not as user friendly as I had hoped.

Great features, Bluetooth a big plus and live traffic updates saves valuable time driving around New York City, Long Island and Upstate.

I have been using the Nuvi 50 for several years now and decided it was time to upgrade. The screen is very nice. The glass face and touch feels more like a smartphone than the GPS I'm used to. The traffic updates have been more accurate than expected. The one major issue is the voice commands. If this is a feature you are basing this purchase on, you may be disappointed. I think I have the "Talk like a robot" thing down pretty good. This GPS just doesn't understand me. I would give the voice commands maybe a 10 percent accuracy rate.

My grandpa took this to Texas and is driving back and forth using it he loves it big screen and Bluetooth connection.

The 60 LMT - 6 GPS replaced an aging Garmin. This company has a respectable history of producing great, solid products. This new unit will link up to satellite much quicker than the unit it replaced. The advanced warning features, alerting you to intersection photo cameras, curvy roads, school zones. If you live in the city, this can get annoying as it will go off frequently. Luckily you can disable this feature, however, I decided to keep in enabled. The touch screen is shiny instead of matted, so you may have to find the perfect angle that it doesn't produce as much glare. The graphics are crisp and the larger screens are more usable in split screen mode. I'm satisfied with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends.

You could use your smartphone but this GPS is does it all with ease, verbal commands, bright screen, large screen

Very easy to navigate, great screen size, sits well on the dash. Bought the sand bag dash holder to go with it.

This works pretty well. I like the voice command feature. Most of the time it is accurate. Only a couple times it blinked out

Out of the box it required an update, which was simple to do. I have the settings to always select the fastest route. Works well, alerts you to upcoming curves, school zones, speed limit changes, and displays the current speed limit on the screen. I haven't yet received any traffic alerts, or been in a situation where one was needed, so I can not comment on that part. The only drawback seems to be the voice commands. it works good until you try to speak a street name. I have tried many times many different ways, and it never gets it right.

This is a great GPS - the screen is large and easy to see and the new features make this an excellent choice.

Works good. traffic feature isnt as good as i would have expected. Although I do mostly country driving. Finding places is MUCH better on the simpler Garmin. I keep the old one to find places!! You have to be exact on what you are looking for on the New one. The old one you can just search the area you are in for ALL locations!! If you don't know where you are how could you know exactly whats around you??!! Most important feature is how it shows you which lane to use on exiting the freeways.

I did a lot of research on different GPS units before purchasing this one. I like the fact that it has lifetime map and traffic updates. It tells you where there's construction or congested traffic and suggests alternate routes. I also liked the fact that it has real time pictures of the exits, so you know which side of the freeway you're getting off on and whether it's one lane or more. The 6" screen was a nice size and made it easy to see everything.

This GPS is absolutely fantastic! Big screen, great features and easy to use! Would highly recommend it.
