Nice size My last garmin unit did traffic without the use of the cell phone. Traffic is not presently working as the unit refuses to connect the smart link. The phone is clearly linked and the unit receives the phone data. Odd

It is very dependable and accurate. I would recommend it to everyone. I bought it because my phone GPS would freeze on me half way towards where ever I would go, but this item never freezes up and is always dependable.

Awesome GPS system. Very clear display,, fast processor, great price....the only gripe I have is that it says has traffic capability but you have to buy the traffic receiver , which i thought it came in the box....but you have to buy it separately which is another $30....bummer.

This is the fourth GPS I've bought over the last twenty years and I love it. I'm tempted to say it cost about half what the previous one did but offers more features. The voice is clear and gives additional types of warnings.

This "big-screen" GPS has all the bells and whistles. Easy large print, notifications on all important things (school zones, speed limit changes, etc.). Provides alternate options when problems (e.g. accidents) arise.

Voice commands are sensitive to the surrounding noises. Voice command tries to pick up radio or people talking in vehicle. Therefore, it works best if you mute your music and ask people to pause their conversations while using voice commands.

I was disappointed in the new presentation of query results. My old Garmin would list all the locations of a given store within my immediate area. The new one only goes immediately to the nearest one. Other than that, it works well and gives good directions.

It gives: driving directions, speed limits, how fast I am going, voice directions, pictures of roads, time to destination, interaction to phone, and a multitude of other options.

Today, proudly not having a smart phone can have its limitations, so the Garmin Smart Drive 61 LMT GPS is part of the solution or answer to some of one's inadequacies. Sometimes, nowadays, a little Technology is a good thing!

I bought the Garmin DriveSMart 61 to replace a smaller Garmin that I used for years. The new one has all kinds of great features. I like that it tries to route me around traffic and gives me alerts if there is an issue ahead.

Love my drive smart and it's ability to sync with my cellphone. BC35 backup camera works great with my Drive smart 61lmt. Only thing is that it will not show how many miles and time you have left to destination. Just arrival time.

I am very happy with the DriveSmart. It helped me on several long drives as well as daily errands. I can avoid traffic & construction works on the freeway which saves me time sitting going nowhere. The resolution & size of the screen is fantastic.

I have used this GPS now on several occasions and LOVE it. It tells you where restaurants, gas stations, etc are, curves in the road, animal crossings, etc. Have found it very useful and love that it is 7" screen.

I purchashed this item while visiting Ohio, I needed a device that was not an app on my phone and this Garmin came through with flying colors, it also does a good job of recalculation very fast if you miss your turn off.

I love all the options and the directions are great the only thing that I really miss is an aesthetic feature cuz I used to be able to on an older version choose a bird instead of a car to be me on the GPS map

Love Garmin products. Will NEVER BUY TOM TOM again. Easy to update. Great customer service. Tom Tom was difficult to deal with. Map directions very often took me way off route. No customer service.

Great value. Perfect for road trip in any car. Use frequently in rental cars. Works well with smart phone for notification and bluetooth of calls. Great add on for live traffic and weather. Must update with computer but does have wifi capability.

Nice added features for this model. Like the school zone, rr crossing and speed reduction.notifications had only a couple of issues with getting me to wrong place but I'm not sure if was a satellite issue or Google map issues but still overall a great Garmin product

Traffic gives very specific updates both through audio and onscreen. I am only using garmin traffic receiver.

We have used this GPS only once since purchase. Based on that limited test, we are confident it will serve us well for the pending 4 State trip we are planning.
