Not as good as original equipment in the dash but it works really well and my phone links to it quickly and effortlessly. Still hands free phoning. Nice big screen and great maps.

I am so happy I upgraded to this GPS. The screen is large enough that I don't have to put on my reading glasses to see what is ahead. Being able to have my GPS read my text messages makes for a great trip. I do have a hard time with people hearing road noises as we talk but feel this might be on the account of my vehicle. It is loud on the inside for me too. All in all I am so happy I found this upgraded GPS.

Was looking for a high quality GPS so that I would not have to use my phone plan's minutes when traveling. Did a lot of research. The Garmin GPS is extraordinary. The large screen enables us to see everything we need at a quick glance. My wife enjoys typing into it and I love the voice command function. We also purchased a sand bag base for it to place it on our dashboard whenever we need it. Thank you for a great product.

It did a good job. It got me around Seattle but I got a red light camera infraction in City of Des Moines, WA. Also used the gps to travel to Mexicali BC Mexico with no problems.

I bought this unit because my vehicle didn't come with GPS and my phone GPS sometimes is unreliable. Once the software/firmware has been updated, works well. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the app that Garmin has you download to sync with your phone. The connectivity seems to cut out every so often. A window will pop up on the screen saying that the phone is disconnected but in fact will still be connected. I hope Garmin fixes the app in the near future. Otherwise it will be a solid 4 star.

This model is so much better than my old garmin and since I have no navigation in my car, it is great that I can sync it with my I phone with the garmin app,it works great for me

I just purchased this new GPS unit. I have previously used Garmin units in the past. This new unit has great software that is easy to use. The screen is large and easy to read.

This particular Garmin navigation unit has a larger screen and easy to read. It also provides more options for navigating the roadways and avoiding high traffic areas or accidents. Very helpful in locating various services such as gas, food etc in an area which you may not be familiar. Very simple to use and can store favorite locations, hotels etc that you may use frequently. Great for traveling especially on business.

You don't even need to put your hands on it .Which is great while you drive. My buddies while we were on a 4 day golf trip were impressed. they wanted to get one after the trip.

Bought on a recommendation from a friend. Best purchase for our dollar. Love that it is voice activated. Larger screen makes it easier to see. Installation was super easy.

Easy to use GPS navigator with useful alerts and lifetime map updates. I travel a lot and never had a problem with the device! Very satisfied and would recommend to others.

If you have a smart phone, it's probably great. I say probably because I couldn't use the Live Traffic because I don't have a smart phone and didn't know there was an expensive cable I needed to buy to use it. My previous Garmin has Live Traffic and uses the cable provided. I liked the new features on the newer Garmin but the Live Traffic is more important to me so I returned this Garmin GPS and I'm still using my old one. I will look elsewhere to find and older model. Best Buy did not carry any that has Live Traffic built in. I will recommend only to those that have smart phone.

I like this GPS, working good and nice screen. I gave 4 stars, because the only thing that I don't like is that must be connected to your cellphone to get the Live Traffic. It doesn't get it by itself

I purchased this unit to replace a nuvi 3590 LMT that died. The "T" Drivesmart 61 LMT is a little deceptive as the unit itself does not receive traffic updates out of the box as the 3590 did. You have to either purchase a separate cable for $70, only to find out that the cable only works in "major metropolitan areas" and not on the open highway (that fact is not listed anywhere on Garmin's site regarding the cable), or use the Smartphone Link app, turn on GPS/location services, and use your data on your phone. So, it order to utilize the "Lifetime Traffic", the Garmin device is basically just a big screen sitting on your dash/windshield displaying information received via your cell phone. The whole point of purchasing the device was so I didn't have to use the GPS and data on my cell phone. If I had know that the only highway traffic option was using the cell app, I would have saved the $300+ that I spent on the new unit & cable and used the free mapping which includes traffic updates already included on my cell phone!

This GPS is top quality as all Garmin GPS’s are. It is large and easy to read. With the larger screen it shows much more detail than our slightly smaller Garmin units.

This GPS has a nice big screen. It’s easy to use. Has voice command option.

The large screen and split display are very useful. Takes a little getting used to when searching for a location and ending directions if you want to shut them off prior to arriving at destination.

This GPS is very easy to use, it works, and visuals are great. Now, I do not use it day to day but when I use it, it gets me there, which is all that matters to me.

The display screen is very nice. Touch screen works very well. Bluetooth feature works pretty well, not sure about the traffic feature though, doesn't seem to work as well as the older type system.

I upgraded to the Drivesmart 61 3 weeks ago. What a difference from my previous Garmin " gps! Crystal clear viewing screen! Can see it easily. Love Love Love it!!!
