Like almost everything. It needs better location service.

OK GPS, BUT needed smart phone for traffic. Added a traffic cable and that did not work well either. Also, when programing from Gettysburg to CT routed me thru Binghamton, NY to Albany, NY to CT. This made a 4-1/2 hour trip into a 10 hour trip. I returned the GPS.

The only issue with my new Garmin is that even with no background noise, I have to yell to be heard and even then, my words are rarely understood so I end up having to pull over to type in the address of where I'm trying to go. That defeats the purpose of me getting this one as opposed to using a cheaper version without the voice recognition or just relying on my phone. Google understands me just fine. Unfortunately, the voice recognition feature was the primary factor in purchasing this model over lesser models so I'm largely dissatisfied.

This Garmin is by far the best GPS device i have used the touch screen feels good just like pressing on a screen of a cell phone and its fast, BUT it still gives you wrong directions just like the others. Nothing so far is better then google maps.

Awful. Set up for traffic via blue tooth not well thought out on inception. It doesn’t Disseminate when other people are trying to connect to the GPS device. I’ve had you turn in this unit three times for other issues because the battery will not hold a charge. It seems the quality of the GPS is have went down

With my purchase i didn't receive the traffic update cord with my Garmin, I probably will return it. I haven't used it. I also donot have a computer to register my Garmin. I think the store should help u do that

It’s visually appealing and roads aren’t accurate but the maps don’t update for construction zones unlike a phone. We plugged it in and waited for the update and it still didn’t capture closed roads.

Item works great. Directions so far have been correct. What I think needs alot of improvement is the voice activated guide. You can repeat yourself several times, but it never repeats it correctly... frustrating.

I was surprised to learn that I needed to have a smart phone in order to access traffic alerts. I did not on the Magellan this was replacing. I do not use a smart phone and to use one while driving is against the law!

Although I like the larger screen size, this Garmin does not perform up to par, It has difficulty locating an address. Also we have had nothing but trouble downloading the soft ware. We have been back to Geek Squad once, they thought they fixed it, but it still doesn't work right. We will have to go back again, and if they cant get it right, we will have to return to product.

Upgrade purchase from previous Garmin. Nice looking, like the bigger size...but the glass screen was just too risky. Returned it before it cracked.

I own many Garmin GPS units. I also own many Garmin OEM chargers and cables. With this unit, I might as well throw them away. The error message that the cable is insufficient to charge the unit is what happens even with the provided cable. And what is amazing is that Garmin says this is normal. Apparently you can only charge this unit in the car. I can't believe Garmin would let a product our like this. Very disappointing. Garmin should release a wall outlet charger and cable that can be purchased that can charge this model with an electrical outlet.

Battery life is horrible. Doesnt even last a 2 hour trip without plugging it in

We have just started using this Garmin, and we're finding some quirks to it, but it could be that we just haven't figured out everything about using it. We'll keep on trying to get it figured out.

you should be able to just turn it on and it works. no need for a computer to down load maps....could not use my acer chromebook.
