I have had several Garmin GPS in the past. This is much more advanced. Its connection to the iPhone is flawless. I also like its big size.

My old Garmin quit working (5 years old) and I don't like using all my "G's" on my cell phone for navigation. I really liked my old Garmin, so I decided to purchase a new one. I LOVE the new features on my new Garmin, including the easy -to-read bigger screen, live traffic information and built-in Wi-Fi. I also really like the audio command feature!!

This GPS does exactly what I bought it to do. I needed a "bread crumb" trail for where I have been and follow the bread crumbs back out. The main reason for 4 stars instead 5 is the HORRIBLE customer service. I had to dig thru the internet and manuals to discover how to operate and set up. When I finally got the settings where they needed to be it is working great. The settings are in the "Map Tools".

Good size screen, easy viewing. Voice directions are detailed and easy to understand. Love the visual and audio guidance with this unit.

I've had several Garmin GPS units over the years. I was so pleased when I saw the screen and how sharp the picture was/is compared to my other Garmin's. Ease of use, plugged it in, set my home and off to where I was headed. Great traffic information as it took me around a one hour backlog on I 75. Pleased in every aspect.

This is the coolest unit. Tells you where school zones, speed changes, red light camera, curve speeds and emails and texts from phone

I purchased this product to use in my business and it has been a great purchase. This one replaced a Garnin from several years ago.

Traded up to this after my previous Garmin failed. This unit does what I expected. I am happy again and not wandering around lost.

This was a gift to replace an older Garmin GPS, Many new features and voice activated. Also has a larger screen. Very good product.

I am so glad that I chose to go with the Garmin DriveSmart 61! The 7 inch screen is so nice and so easy to read. Also with a larger screen ALL the buttons are larger so it is easier to press the RIGHT one when driving. The screen is a huge upgrade because the screen is so crisp. It is not pixelated at all and looks like a high end smartphone screen. I was hesitant at first to rely on the Garmin SmartLink App for traffic updates for a few reasons, I was concerned it would not connect every time I started up the GPS and I was concerned that the traffic updates would not be accurate. I was so wrong on both accounts. The GPS connects about 8 out of 10 times on its own as long as I do not close the app from running in the background. The traffic updates are BETTER than any updates you can get over the air because the SmartLink updates are more accurate and updates conditions much quicker. I had always relied on the GTM-60 cable to get the HD traffic updates, but the SmartLink updates are leaps and bounds better. Do yourself a favor and free up your phone and get the Garmin DriveSmart 61. You will not regret it and trust me it is better than your wife directions. :)

Love the bluetooth connection so I can talk on my phone hands-free and the voice command so I don't have to spell everything out.

This is a Christmas gift for my husband. I like that the screen is much larger and he can use Bluetooth. The price was perfect.

Bigger screen is BETTER.. clear illustrations linking cell phone allows you to not get distracted from it thru the Garmin screen

I love this GPS with a larger screen. I have had other GPS units and always wanted a larger screen and this one fits the bill.

I really like this GPS. It has a good image and will find your route fast. so far it has been accurate. only issue is that it may be just a little too big.

This is the best gps that I’ve seen and have used. The clarity and the ease of usage is phenomenal and I highly recommend it.

I bought this for a trip out to Colorado and to replace an older Nuvi 3790 which has only a 4.3 inch screen. Wanted something that I could see without straining my eyes. It was extremely accurate and I got to see parts of the country I've never been in before. I loved that when I deviated from the course I didn't get the "recalculating" voice message. It just figure out an alternate course.

I read reviews if quite a few GPS before choosing this one. I choose this one because it is a bigger screen and had lifetime map updates. The unexpected bonuses are: it’s vey light, very bright, the voice giving directions is clear and loud enough.

Have bought over a dozen over the years. Love the things. I can typically get 2-3 years out of them b4 i got to replace them.
