This gps was very easy to use. First trip I really liked the lane assist and traffic. Backup camera was very clear.

Had researched and compared several models. This one has voice commands and also pairs with my iPhone. Recommend!

Great screen. Extremely intuitive for my first GPS. Very complete database of the entire N.American Continent. Used it to drive from the Midwest through Canada to Alaska and only missed one obscure address, but still got us close enough to find it. Easier to hear turn by turn instructions over wind and road noise with windows open. Would definitely recommend to friends.

I purchased this unit to replace an older model Garmin. It's very accurate and loaded with features my older GPS didn't have. I really like the fact that you can update your maps via a wireless network without relying on the Garmin Express app on my laptop. A nice unit that was well worth the price.

So far this is a great GPS. I have only owned Garmins and this one does the job. I would recommend it to anyone.

I was hesitant about buying a stand alone GPS since I have been using either google maps or the built in navigation in my vehicle for years now. But I recently purchased a new van for our children’s ministry and it had no navigation nor Bluetooth so I researched and bought this one. I am impressed. The trip feature allows me to setup our bus routes so that if I am not available to drive anyone can call up the route and be guided through the whole route!! A+++

This is our third Garmin in about 15 years and we are most pleased with the improvements and added features.

We updated from an older Garmin so we could have updated maps without an additional charge. Easy to use and maneuver. We take it on every vacation and have used it many times when we have taken a wrong turn. It is amazing how it can get you back on track in a jiffy....no stress travel.

Just moved to upstate ny and really needed this GPS to get around anywhere. Will not leave home without it.

I got one of these for my parents (81 years old) they loved it so much I got one for myself. Excellent GPS.

We bought this to replace a TomTom unit, a brand that we have always used but have had issues with lately. My husband, who is a bit technically challenged, needed it for his work truck He really likes this unit. He finds it easy to use, likes the features and has become a Garmin convert.

My husband is a truck driver, and the large screen is great for him. Also free lifetime updates, is great!

The device works as expected. The battery life is very short. It is hard to find a spot to place in vehicle so it can stay plugged in.

I love my Drivesmart 61. I replaced my Nuvi 1450. I was concerned that this 7" screen would be to big, but I quickly got used to it on my windshield and it's easy to read all the maps and alerts. This is like having a smartphone. Beautiful, clear, bright screen. Bluetooth that synchs with your phone for traffic alerts and other info. It has so many geatures I don't have time to cover them here. Some neat features are alerts letting you know what the speed limit will be on your upcoming turn, school zone alerts and you can purchase red light speed camera alerts. But there are many other features as well. The only minor downsides are that the voice commands don't work very well. It has to be quiet in your car and it doesn't catch all your commands all the time. It also still doesn't give you verbal turn instructions far enough out when you're on a highway. Ineed to know at least two miles in advance to start getting over. You also can't look up addresses by zip code like you could with the Nuvi. But overall, it's a huge advancement. You'll love it!

This was a monumental upgrade to my old Garmin, significantly larger, clearer and the touch responsiveness is considerably better, very good. A couple of things that don't seem as good as my old Garmin is the actual rout planning, when down close to mexico it took me on back roads instead of freeway (and not because there was any traffic issues). Also, when i put UK map in it, the unit didn't have the capability of searching by post code which takes you to the door in the UK, and many normal addresses couldn't be found. A real shame as Garmin has always been the leader by far in routing software but they seem to have lost the bubble a bit. Other than that, this is a great unit.

This is an intuitive GPS system, much easier to use than models I have tested costing up to $800. For me, its best feature is the much larger display screen than other systems and cell phones. It easily detaches from the windshield to be hidden in my car's console when not in use. I highly recommend it!

The best GPS on the market. I have owned 10 over the years this is the best and voice command works great

Only had two weeks, so far, so good. Going on a trip in two weeks and I will test it then and report back.
