I've had a built-in GPS for 7 years, so it's taken a little getting used to, but it's an efficient unit. Got a larger display to avoid needing readers to see it. Fits well in upper corner of windshield - does not block my vision in any way.

Good, feature-rich device. Unforunately, no better than any other device at giving the best route. All GPS devices I have ever encountered will tend to suggest routes that don’t make any sense. If someone was not familiar with the area, they would not realize an incorrect route was given.

I have been using Garmin gps for a long time. This was a replacement for a mich older version. The hands free works very well for commands and phone calls. The large screen is a bonus, but it is pretty big. All in all very nice.

The screen is a great size, and has a good quality picture. I also have the back up camera, and the picture quality comes out very well. It is very easy to use and interpret.

After using this GPS for about a month, I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a navigator. Its accurate, easy to read, and plenty big for viewing the screen while driving.

This product was easy to learn right out of the package. We are not technology inclined so to have this so easy was a big plus. Nice big screen, easy to see and hear directions.

I love the size of this Garmin and the updated features with Bluetooth. It tells you where restaurants and gas stations are located along the route and the sceeen is so nice and clear.

The voice command feature of this GPS navigation system is amazing. Gets it right the first time. Large display with great turn by turn instructions with lane advice that has been perfect.

This is a good product. It is much better than the older version.

This is an nice GPS with a very large, clear and sharp display which is the highlight of the unit. I have no trouble with glare when the brightness is on highest setting. Traffic updates are dependent upon connecting your phone through their App. At times getting it connected is a pain but I had a much more difficultly with my last TomTom. Be sure to protect it from the sun when parked or it will overheat. Biggest con is the price. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a large display.

I would buy it again .It worked just as it was suppose to work.

I replaced my old Garmin with this one and I am so glad I did. The voice command allows hands-free navigation and I really like the screen size.

I Like My New Garmin GPS System. It Is Fairly Easy To Operate And Gives Me The Option Of Operating It Through Voice Commands Or Through Manual Methods. This Was A Good Buy And Was On Sale Also.

This one is the 5th one from Garmin. I love it very much, the large 6 inches , glossy glass, automatic software update. ease to use. Hope any one thing about GPS will buy this one.

the screen display is very good. voice audio is also good. The only thing I don't like and its a feature that I assumed it had, is a battery back up which would allow it to stay on and work when unplugged. This unit will only stay on for maybe a minute once unplugged. Like I said, its something I assumed it had and could be my fault. Its one of the reasons I replaced my other Garmin. The battery was no longer working after 10 minutes of it being on and unplugged. Other than that, if you buy it on sale and end up paying $159 like I did, its a big score! Cant go wrong with Garmin.

I had previously had garmin built into a in dash Kenwood media system which I enjoyed but when I traded for a newer vehicle that also had an in dash media system in it that didn't have garmin navigation I decided on purchasing the drivesmart 6I. I like the lifetime map updates but I don't care for the fact the battery doesn't stay charged long and in fact I have to keep it plugged in to the charger. Other than that I am satisfied.

While the ease of use is consistent with previous Garmin products I’ve owned, I find the live traffic update feature and Bluetooth pairing functionality to be less than optimal. Constantly dropping either the traffic or phone with Bluetooth as it appears you need a separate connection for both, which seems to confuse the device. A lot of restarting in the middle of directing to a location, possibly as a result of low signal areas. Having to connect to an app, Smartlink, on the phone seems to be causing problems. I would still recommend the device, however, for overall functionality minus the traffic feature.

This GPS is a replacement for one that wore out and it works great picking up the locations, avoiding traffic and tolls if I want and the screen is large so I can see it.

This is the first gps of any kind what so ever. I'm planning a trip to California this November and being that I'll be driving, I thought it would be nice to have a gps guide me around. I did some research and ended up with this Garmin drivesmart 61LMT 6.95". My daughter has a 5" garmin LM gps which she uses to drive around the other Islands. She told me to practice using my new gps so I'll be familiar with it's functions. I'm doing that now, and am very impressed at how easy it is to drive to a different location using this gps. As far as I'm concerned, this is a winner!! Thank you very much for such a fine device!! Mahalo & Sincerely, Mike.
