Extremely handy. On a recent trip to Spokane it kept me from getting lost over and over again. It does have a tendency to take you the quickest route which we learned later may not be the best route, using side streets instead of main roads. We used google maps on our phone initially, and liked it a little better then this unit. However, overall, not a bad purchase.

It would be much more beneficial if this GPS came with an instruction manual in the box. Programming and understanding the features is not easy.

Like that it’s WiFi and blue tooth ready nice size screen

No pun intended, the Garmin works so good that I actually purchased another. The first one was for the childrens car, its a little older and did not have a Nav system built in, BUT I wanted the Bluetooth backup camera for them. Dash mounted Garmin is so much safer than using a cell phone APP.

Easy to use. The large screenmakesit easy to see at a glance.

This is a great gps,does everything. Especially love the way it connects to my iPhone and can give weather alerts and traffic alerts. Would have given it 5 stars but lately the curve ahead banner has been staying on the top of the screen and the only way to remove it is by letting the gps power off. Overall a solid purchase.

Large screen and good voice command and map with guidance

The Garmin Navi is somewhat disappointing. I'm used to GoogleMaps on my cell phone. The Garmin device isn't anywhere close. When we went eclipse chasing this week, the traffic was a mess. The Garmin navigatoin around traffic was really poor compared to my cell phone. It's OK for normal sorts of navigation but when there is a lot of traffic, it just doesn't perform. The display is pretty low resolution but on the other hand it's larger so easier to see in the car so it has its advantages. I'd love one of these devices to support AndroidAuto. I bought the Garmin 61LMT-S primarily for the backup camera and it works OK, there too. The contrast/dynamic range of the camera is much lower than I expected but it is useful. I would recommend this device but with the above reservations.

I have owned 3 or 4 Garmin gps in the past several years. I like this one the best by far. Has free lifetime map and traffic updates. Can also make and receive phone calls and receive notifications. Very large, almost 7 inches so if you have a smaller car with a small windshield it could be a little big

This unit has great features but it is not all that is advertised.. It states lifetime traffic burdens even come with a traffic antenna, it only works when linked with an app on your phone. Could have been spelled out better before we bought it. Still works well though.

The screen is very large, which I like. However, it gives errors when plugged in to my computer, telling me it cannot charge with the provided cable. Their support says this will not affect anything. The software that is supposed to link it to my smart phone does not work correctly. And the bluetooth function for hands free calling doesn't do any noise cancelling. Do people cannot hear me over road noise. To make that worse, if I try to use a different bluetooth device to make a call, the GPS grabs the call from it. This also affects using bluetooth audio to play music through my car stereo because it grabs the audio feed. In spite of this all, it is still very effective at navigation. I just wish I had gotten a less expensive unit without the high end features that do not work well.

The best gift I purchased yet ! I brought it for my husband as a Christmas gift ! Extremely thin and big !

I recently bought myself this Garmin GPS for use as I drive around to various places in Cleveland. I am very pleased with the GPS. It works fantastically and allows me to find my way around areas of the city that I am not familiar with at this time. I highly recommend the product.

very good GPS I bought on a trip to Detroit as my old Garmin had finally given up. I am not to Tec savvy so it did take a little while to get used to ( still getting used to it ) it. so if you are okay with the latest tec stuff this Gps is for you watch for it to go on sale 199.99 VS 249.99

We bought this for my mother-in-law to replace her old Garmin. The newer touch screen works so much better and the display is also sharper than the older version. It's still similar enough that my m-i-l didn't have to learn new "skills" to know how to use it. That was a plus for an aging parent.

I bought this to use with my Garmin backup camera, works great! Best thing, you can update maps & software via WiFi! Just make sure you do the first software update w/usb, then you’re good to go. I like the size of the screen. Thought it might be too big, it’s not for me anyway.

This unit is so much better than my previous Garmin. Only thing is I wish it came with the traffic cord, you're expected to link your phone to this for traffic. Google maps finds traffic issues much faster than this Garmin. Love the display size and voice searching

This is my first Garmin purchase. I and my family have owned numerous Tom Toms but never a Garmin. I really haven't owned it long enough to give a complete review but what I've seen so far I really like. It's fast at processing and and I love both the wireless update and voice command part of it.
