This is a great GPS. I travel a lot and it has gotten me to where I needed to go even in the mountains and deserts. You can also program by speaking to it.

I've had a few GPS units from Garmin and Magellan before. This one is way better. The screen is big, bright, and clear. Touch screen works great. The GPS recalculates so much faster compared to my older ones. The update process is so much quicker and easier too. Love it.

great GPS but sometimes the voice command will come on while I’m driving and I have to actually exit out of it.

Garmin has always been my go to gps because of its quality and dependability. The voice command is a real plus feature. I like the Drive Smart 61 LMT-S more than the one that is built in my new truck. Great job GARMIN with another great product.

Garmin has produce more GPS but, i like this one cause it is bigger in size and also i can download 4 times in a year. somewhere it shows a local road instead of highway but still it is great.

Works great. Does use a lot of data for traffic. But works great and updates very easy

I've owned several Garmin GPS units over the years. As usual, this one is well designed and easy to use. I love the large, sharp screen image. Lots of features. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Such a great gps, it allows me to plan my daily routes, receive real time traffic alerts and ensures I don’t make a wrong turn, as well as receive messages, calls and notifications from my phone on screen so I do not have to touch my phone while driving.

I love this gps so much, because it lets you know where curves are at, where schools are at, great for letting you know the posted speed limits. It is loud where you can hear it good. I love it. I don’t have to ask my husband directions no more at all.

This is a good product . It is very usable. It is very useful to me and to my family.

Garmin has always been my GPS devices of choice. Very easy to use. The only negative thing about the newer units is that the battery does not hold a charge for any length of time. I only use my GPS a few times a year so it does tend to be aggravating.

This gps in awesome.Screen clarity is wonderful.Just remember when using Garmin Connect for traffic & weather via bluetooth thru cellphone ( Let the app run in the background on your phone,Do not kill the app if you do you will not receive your traffic and weather).

I have used this gps for a few weeks now and really like it. The voice command feature is great, but I could do without the warning of a curve coming up. At least it only displays the message on the top line and does not verbally warn you every time.

Haven’t had to use the gps since purchase so can’t give a lot of pros or cons. I do like the large screen.

We feel this is the best purchase we have made recently. Good display and GPS is very detailed. Better then our GPS on our phones. Only think missing on this model is a drive camera. Hope Garmin adds a camera to this model in the future.

Gave my Nuvi to my daughter and bought a bigger GPS. No border and is right on with the directions. Used it to go to Cambridge not using tolls and it took us a different way from the Nuvi but same distance and enjoyable. I have not linked my phone to the smart app and don’t know if I will.

I bought this unit to replace an older Nuvi 3790. While the 3790 is a good unit, I needed a larger screen. The DriveSmart 61 is perfect for my older eyes. I've tested the unit around town and haven't experienced any problems. Looking forward to using it on a long distance trip (scheduled soon - FL. to CO).
