I bought this unit to replace an older Nuvi 3790. While the 3790 is a good unit, I needed a larger screen. The DriveSmart 61 is perfect for my older eyes. I've tested the unit around town and haven't experienced any problems. Looking forward to using it on a long distance trip (scheduled soon - FL. to CO).

Have been a Garmin customer for 15 plus years, wouldn’t recommend any other GPS device company. Currently have 2 of these and ready to buy #3. Keep maps updated and you can’t go wrong.

Purchased this for on son on his way out the door. He told me he didn’t need one he had his phone. After setting it up and connecting to his phone he was a happy camper. Only mistake I didn’t buy one for my wife also. I will be doing that

Since purchasing this I have used most of the functions, even Bluetooth connection with phone. Even purchased a couple of phone apps that improve interaction with GPS. Great screen, easy to see in day or night mode. So far no misleading directions.

This GPS is very user friendly and its large display is clearly readable despite its location on the windshield which is behind a very deep dashboard of a 2013 Toyota Sienna. The voice direction of impending problems ahead are a great help.

This gps is much better than the OEM navigation system that came with the car.

I like my Garmin, but haven’t really used it yet. I do have it on and I can see all the streets as I approach them. I will use my new Garmin when I am going to a place where I have never been before and it will help me get there, I’m sure!!!

I am enjoying my Garmin. I purchased it to replace my TomTom which got broken.

Without a doubt. The best GPS unit on the market. The voice command feature lessens the driver distraction and makes it a safer unit.

Bought for 1000 mile move in box truck.Like screen size for these old eyes.Very helpful finding hotel n fuel stops on rual highways out west(which could be far off main road).Wish Best Buy carried the special traffic antenna in store.

I bought this Garmin to replace an old Garmin GPS with a failing display. It works great, used it in the Miami - Fort Launderdale area and had absolutely no problems. I really like the large displace, its much easier to read than the smaller units.

This GPS is still going strong after using it for a few years. It updates still and the traffic updates are handy when driving through Chicago on our way to MN. Love the big, but not too big, screen size.

Google maps would go haywire sometimes. Garmin took me where I wanted to go.

Helps me avoid getting lost. I have very little natural sense of direction.

Coming from cars with built in navigation and going to one without one took an adjustment. I figured I’ll use the app on my phone...no need to get Navigation in the car...I’m a genius...until the first trip where I had bad cell phone reception or was on my phone for a long time and my app was not updating...genius I am not...choosing this Navigation system was smart on my behalf though...easy to use, reliable, voice commands make it great to search for addresses, I can have text messages read out loud...overall a great product.

My sisters and i used this Garmin on our recent road trip. IT IS EXCELLENT....gave directions, gas stations, restaurants even ATM's..Trustest it completely... If you are thinking of buying a GPS, buy a Garmin. They are the BEST..

My son can't find his way around anywhere. This GPS is just what he needs!

The 61-LMT has a crystal clear picture and some very nice features. The blue tooth works well but the voice command could use some refinement. I still need to hook up a backup camera. I will further update when that takes place.

Bigger screen, better touch screen, still gets hot if left in direct sun light. Better preferences set up. Way better then a smart phone GPS app, my friends still use their phones and I have to provide directions to get them near their destination.

best garmin nav i have purchased yet. i would recommend this to everyone.
