I purchased this GPS for a road trip from Virginia to Alaska. It never let me down and was easy to read. It was easy to program and a great aid in finding out of the way places and addresses with pinpoint accuracy.

Purchased for a trip to Oregon, Washington & Idaho... got us to all of our destinations without ant problems. My cousin who was on the trip has ordered one for herself. Love the Bluetooth & warnings!!

My 77 year old mom needed a GPS for trips. The system is voice activated and had a very large display. The ONLY negative I've found is the bracket starts to sag. The solution I found was to mount it low on the windshield so it would rest on the dash.

I just love my new Garmin. Still getting to know it. Takes me some time. You can just ask it things which is nice. Have to figure out how to have it tell us when the roads are blocked though.

Very good: display is easy to read,even with less than 20/20 vision. second Garmin i have purchased and my next one will be buy Garmin if they maintain the same consideration the designers put into this product.

GPS worked great on a road trip that took us out to West Virginia, Ohio and Illinois and then back to NY! Directions were accurate and screen was easy to see. Looking forward to the next road trip!

I have five of these units for business vehicles that travel a lot. The charging cable has had some issues after only a couple of months with two of them. When it is charged properly they work fine. Very good compared to other GPS units available.

First used the gps running around town. I like that it notified you of the speed limit change and when you are approaching school zones. We also used in on a trip to New Mexico. The gps device worked real well.

I have had several vehicles with GPS Systems but the Garmin that I continue to buy that sits on my dash is the easiest and most accurate and complete data source I have.

Have only used a few time but easy to load and use

Was purchased to replace malfunctioning Tom-Tom GPS. Set the unit up and installed in my vehicle. Voice Command function is great since Washington State passed law relating to touching devices while driving.

This is a GPS you are going to buy if you really need one. Lack of searching ability as well as no choice of road are still problems for this GPS. However, it surpassed the google map as it doesn’t require cellular data to operate. Realtime location is also more accurate than the google map, especially if you are not using a 5G 6G speedy Internet. The model also comes with bluetooth function which allow you to search for a location via your smartphone. However, the function only works for nearby location within about 50-60 miles. If you are traveling a longer distance you can use “pick a location from map” or search from its display via “Tripadvisor function”. I still wonder why can’t the smartphone app searches for location in a longer distance where it is available searching in the GOS display but it really can’t.

I have had many gps units and this one is the best one yet. Just used it on a trip to Charleston Sc and it worked great. Love the way it links to my phone to give me warnings of delays and red light camera's.

This is by far the best GPS I've ever used or had. It's simple and the best part is this GPS has a split screen so I have a view of what the offramp looks like.

This is a great Garmin. Large display and has been extremely accurate with directions. It has worked when my phone maps have not. It has some minor flaws such as sometimes laggy voice commands but overall I would purchase again.

I read the reviews before purchasing this product. I chose Garmin because of their wide product line. Garmin Drivesmart 61 is smart and agile! No complaints. I would purchase it again!

Bought my Garmin last summer because I was driving to Canada. Very accurate and easy to follow. First time driving long distance and I was very pleased at how easy my travel Wes. Love it.

I'm replacing an older Garmin that was about to die. I was concerned about loosing all the locations I had stored on the old one. I was able to transfer everything over and didn't miss a beat.

Large screen makes it easy to read, directions are detailed, including the split screen showing pictures of the exit signs, display of speed limits, upcoming restaurants, gas stations etc.
