Jerk left the cord so not sure how they will get it to work. Anyway, we had purchased drivesmart 61 for our other vehicle and we really liked it. 7” screen is beautiful. It was a no brainer. Off to Best Buy to get a second 61- 7”. We now have two great GPS. Very satisfied. We also got a great discount which sweetened the deal.

I wanted a reliable GPS that could help with points of interest, gas stations, restaurants and hotels. This GPS was the answer. It was reliable and easily recognized ALL voice commands. This made it safe to drive and request information from the GPS. If you are looking for a quality product, I highly recommend this model.

I love all the additional guidance features on this new unit and I really like the bluetooth cell phone capability, AND the backup camera for my "older" pickup truck. Kudos to Garmin for an excellent GPS with these super nice new features.

However, If you are used to TomTom, it will take some getting used to. After using TomTom for 8 yrs, I got tired of them dying in the middle of the summer, or the horrible customer service/support their company offers. While TomTom has the best map layout-in my opinion, The Garmin CLEARLY has better build quality....I think almost $300 is a little pricey for this unit, but if it lasts 5 yrs, it will be worth it....

I work in a business where we add custom POI (Point of Interest) to our GPS units and currently have over 276,000 loaded. I like that this model has a capacitive display as it is more responsive but it does also have more glare. The 6.98" display is definitely a bonus over a phone.
