Great screen but thats it

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i dont understand why people so excited about this item, first of all it takes more than 1 minute to turn this thing on.. once screen is off overnight i guess and next day you press "on" button and nothing happens! then you press and hold for like minute and nothing! then randomly it turns on.. great thing about is screen and lane guidance, and that you can put it on same level as your eyes. finding location takes time and not always finds.. for example google map takes 1-2 second, this thing will easily take 30 seconds! best part is calculating route.. goes like : calculating 1% calculating 4% calculating 8% calculating 11% calculating 13% calculating 14% calculating 18% calculating 19%.... you get idea

Love my Garmin

I have used it to locate restaurants and other services, at home and in new cities. It not only gives you the posted speed limit, but the actual speed of your vehicle. I am still learning all the new features, but am overall very satisfied with the ease of operation.

We purchased it for long road trips so we didn’t have to rely on our phones for navigation but In order to use traffic you need to correct it your phone. Instead I found we just used our phone when we knew we were entering high traffic areas
