Good product after getting the difficult setup done. Still trying to figure out some of the features. Alexa feature works well. I compared this to my regular google maps I have in the car. Google maps navigation seems a bit quicker on telling you when to turn etc... The map display is fuller and better on the Garmin. Worthy purchase for me.

If you drive a late model vehicle and the aux jack is the only option to link to the stereo then look no further. This is the unit for you. It has all the bells and whistles. Stream music to you stereo via the aux from you phone library or through Amazon music. The navigation is very intuitive and easy to use. Why the three stars you might ask? It's an easy to use GPS and lots of features! However, the product but short on quality. I had to exchange the unit twice in order to get it to work properly. Both time had to do with the aux jack. If the manufacture would have better quality control this unit could have earn 5 stars for their top of the line product. For those who doesn't need an aux jack, this could be the GPS for you.

I am a salesman who travels around the east coast by car. When I use my in dash system it is always interrupted by a phone call at the worst possible time. Having a stellar stand alone GPS help by not getting thrown off course during those times. Great item!!

This GPS is amazing. Had several before this one but this is the best. Great brilliant screen and features. Love the Alexa app that is built into it. The bluetooth works really well with the iPhone and car app. Awesome!

GPS systems are more of a luxury at this point with so many phone apps available. But I wanted something that was bigger than a phone, and where I didn't have to replace my cars headunit. Enter: Drivesmart 65. Nice big screen, detailed exits and which Lane to be in, and music displayed. Alexa works too as an extra feature to change your music. If you travel to unfamiliar places often, you can't go wrong with this.

This is a handy tool for getting you where you are going. Took some time to get set up so that it worked correctly from the location you were currently at. Also have to go in and save your separate favorites like a specific location, a city or a place and that takes a bit of time. Calling your favorites phone numbers worked great once it was set up.

I’ve been a long time Garmin user, and this will be my 3rd. The last one was purchased around 2013, and the screen just started developing a black spot due to my own abuse after years of being left in the sun. This new unit has the feature I’ve most wanted over the years- the ability to search an address (or location) via the app on my phone, then send it to the gps and go from there. Makes typing and searching a location so much more convenient. Why shouldn’t I just rely on my smartphone for routing then? I currently live in Denver, and the Rocky Mountains are nearby. I also occasionally drive to Houston and there are huge dead cell areas on the way. Not needing to rely on an internet connection to navigate is vital for me. Not needing to worry about remembering to download a map ahead of time is big. The screen is large and clear, route calculation is WAY faster than my 2013 model, and having Alexa able to control my Amazon Music playlist so well makes my car feel newer. Super recommend even in a smartphone world.

What I have enjoyed most about the Garmin is the warning chime when the speed limit drops. The traffic information is also very helpful but you need to make your own decision about the rerouting it offers. It is a help aid, not Artificial Intelligence. Understanding this is why I give this Garmin 5 stars. Money well spent - not to mention the nice touchscreen display. Your cellphone data enhances the device but you don't necessarily need it. I accidentally left my phone at home while on a 100 mile trip but the Garmin routed me to my destination & back with no issues as it utilizes the GPS radio signals

Great gps, comes loaded with all sorts of features but only down side is not too great for a truck driver. Will take on certain route not suitable for a truck. Have to reroute every now and again to accommodate that but overall really nice gps.

I am glad I bought this model . The connivence of this model of WiFi to do updates is great for being on the road . I seem to forget when at home until 3 hours down road . Plus my phone messages connects to it so easy to see messages . Plus the weather at a glance is perfect .

Love the size and built in Akexa. I use it on my motorcycle.

Replacing a Garmin from 15 years ago. Very fast. Not hard to get used to the updated interface. Larger screen allows for more information. Just wish it didn't turn roads purple for destinations beyond the current stop in Trip Planner.

It’s still early but basic performance is great. Good, clear instructions and independent setup and operation. Working out the Bluetooth and advanced features. No opportunity to checkout traffic,Alexa or road trip capabilities. This explains the four star rating as opposed to a five star

The garmin drive smart 65 gps with amazon alexa was a great purchase. although i would like it to be cheaper and/or offer military discount this was a smart buy due to its size and features
