Easy to use very good durable product at a very good price

My husband saw the Garmin - DriveSmart 86 8" GPS at the store and he loved the new features like a Built-In Bluetooth, Map Updates and the sleek look. He was in need of a new one for our older RV. I found this to be the perfect gift for Christmas.

my previous drivesmart 61 (i think it was) died on the road. i bought this one thinking the larger screen would mean larger type and was disappointed it did not. also, though this device provides a lot of info, it is very complicated to navigate. troublesome. nonetheless, i value the street and highway designations. they help keep me oriented.

So easy to use and had no problems at all ! Would recommend anyone who needs a Garmin GPS, go to Best buy! They have the most experienced people working there!!

Works well for out of town trips. But the maps, even when it states "Up to Date" are still about 4-5 years out of date. There have been roads completed in my area for the past few years that are still not on here. Device functions fine as far as navigation goes.

Excellent GPS I can setup a border around NYC so it won’t route me over the GWB and dealing with ridiculous toll rates. Easy setup free updates and maps they have improved their product over time.

This is a window gps that can be seen and heard, It works well and does what I need it to, Really like the Bluetooth aspect of it and the wireless connection to my home internet. Only complaint is that on the route planner it does not work well when you deviate from the route, you have to go back and restart it to get this proper line to follow.

Long time Garmin user and this upgrade has been the best ever. The setup and transfer of data from my previous unit was flawless. I appreciate the larger size and Bluetooth features.

Size of screen is good but ease of operation is not. It would be nice to have a paper owner manual to read while trying to figure out the many things the GPS can do. I printed out the book which I down loaded it still is way to complicated for the average person my age. We need bigger screens not more bells and whistles.

Bought for my father in law but he is stuck in the 70’s. Worked great easy to use and setup was a snap. Hooked into phone as easy as 123.

Love using this GPS it works awesome and gets me to where I need to go. It's very good with providing quick updates if there is an accident or traffic delays. Voice clarity is very good

Garmin 86 does everything I had hoped for and much more. I especially like that it can be mounted/viewed horizontal or vertical. Quite an overall improvement over the 66.

This is a great GPS and for the size you can't beat itI have a Ford Escape and I have Navigation, but nothing beats Garmin, I have the 76 also, but I returned the 86 because using it with the bean bag just isn't good, you have to buy an adapter to make it work and I don't like the windshield mount.

It's a nice item with lots of functions, but is a pain in the butt to set up, the first time I used it, it ran me in circles, cost me an extra 5 hours on a 547 mile drive, I can't imagine how a person that isn't familiar with these things will ever be able to figure it out. Once I got it up & running properly, it was everything I hoped for & more.

The gps is easy to set up to your phone and on WiFi.Works perfectly.

More features than I can use but they are there if needed. Easy to program.

I work as a bus driver. Every day I have assignment to drive different routes where I never was before. Without a Garmin - DriveSmart 86 8" GPS it was awfully stressful job. Now the DriveSmart 86 8" serves like my eagle's eyes. With it I can see where I'm going miles and miles ahead and around. Even if it would be dark cloudy night, and thick heavy fog will cover the road and traffic signs - I will know where I am, and where is my next turn. With the DriveSmart 86 8" I can drive confidently even there where "streets have no names"... Vlad, Sterling, VA

Upgraded my GPS courtesy of my employer....this thing is the Cadillac of the GPS world....It's got it all! Highly recommend this unit if you're upgrading. Large screen, Live Weather and Traffic, supports my backup camera and even has Alexa and Google search audible commands when driving.
