It stated that i would arrive at my destination at 7:44 Central time, my appointment was for 8am. However when I was only a few minutes away it changed to 8:44 Eastern standard time, making me automatically late. It has also sent me to the wrong address several different times and i only been using it for little over a week. I now use both my Garmin GPS and Google maps to ensure accuracy. Very disappointed.

This thing sent me down a dirt road in Tennessee for 5 miles, when all I had to do was make a quick left and go 500 feet, make another left and go 1000 feet to make the highway.. The same highway.. I have serious trust issues when it come to this Garmin..

Posted .Sorry to hear of your experience. A dirt road certainly doesnt sound like an optimal truck route. I recommend making sure your vehicle truck profile is accurate (Don't build in a weight cushion, make it accurate to your load the day of) and also your route settings are appropriate for your type of business needs. The routes that it chose in most cases were unnecessarily careful and 95% of the time worse than using the GPS on my iPhone. I run 12-20 stops a day and the extra time this thing would have added to my day was a deal breaker. I took it back and got my money back.

Routes wants to route you through other areas that a truck shouldn't go through. This is not a diesel truck friendly g. Yes.

Posted .The dezl OTR line is designed specifically for semi truck routing and will notify the user if truck routing is unknown at the very least so that the driver can use posted road signs to stay compliant. Having said that, routing inquiries are typically resolved with the user programed vehicle profile. Start by visiting support.garmin.com.

Posted .Sorry to hear you've had this experience. Since it was with 4 seperate units there is likely a resolution. We must make sure the unit is plugged directly into the trucks 12v accessory port and no splitters or extensions are used. These will degrease the amount of power sent to the dexl device causing exactly what you've described. For assistance with troubleshooting visit support.garmin.com.
