I drive a motorcoach for a living and this GPS has been an absolue game changer for me. Ive been using it for 7 months now and compared to google maps this is easily the better option. I like the ability to save locations and that it learns frequent routes. You can customize your route or select from several different route options it gives you. There are a few things that made me give it a 4 star. While driving in the city (San Francisco, Los Angeles) it easily loses signal around the tall buildings. It also lags a lot while youre trying to edit a route or type in a destination. Also it uses the truck regulations for the bus or if it isnt sure a certain road has regulations it will route you way around it. Buses have different rules than trucks so its annoying that it will route you based on trucking rules.

My 90 days opinion about the Garmin! It does just fine for the application I use it for. By been a truck driver it's the perfect size (screen) and mount that's not in my line of sight. Sometimes the gps (Garmin) tend to act slow from time to time ,but I guess that due to it by sitting in the windshield throughout the days/night . What I have realized that it seems the gps battery drain out pretty fast when you don't plug it in a cigarette port ,which I don't like.

Yo this does it for me everytime.. keeps me on tracks knows everywhere i shud be going to onlybthing i would say thats a negative is sometimes it doesnt find the addresses so i have to use intersections to get to my destination. Would be nice if looked more like a google maps scheme or had different routes ypu cud choose from but other than that solid device indeed!

It was definitely worth buying. I have not had any problems with it. It comes with everything you need to know for on the road truck drivers. It reroutes to not pass the truck through a low bridge. I been having this for a month driving trucks and it has been handy to have. I recommend it for other drivers to invest in.

Best Gps to us for OTR. Many settings to help navigate you on the beat roite available. I love the parking feature, shows many truck stops to shut down at. Would reccomend to any otr, even local drivers.

Bought this Garmin trucking GPS when our Garmin RV GPS suddenly died and needed a suitable GPS in 2 days. Found this available at nearest Best Buy store. Though designed for truckers, it can be configured by size and weight, etc for an RV. Some learning curve but hard since I had a Garmin before. The only downside during use for 3 weeks and a couple dozen stops is that it has no list on RV parks, like the Garmin RV GPS. Manual loading of addresses has been spot on, though had to use coordinates a couple of times, also very accurate. I like that it announces turns and upcoming curves, hills, etc., with good lead time. When the average speed is set, then the arrival time is listed, accurate to within the minute. Screen is bright and easy to read, voice announcements are clear. Easy to update maps. Routing can be changed manually if needed, but so far, accurate when compared to other mapping apps. Avoidances can be set. The only downside so far, is the relatively short battery life when unplugged, manually adding information. When in use, I keep it plugged in with no issue. It automatically shuts down when plugged into active truck power source when the truck is turned off. Can be charged with USB or 'cigarette lighter' outlet.

Im really happy with my perchance of the Garmin GPS. As a local truck driver i truly rely on this product to get me from point A to point B , without spending me down a road that a semi truck cannot get out of. I definitely recommend this product to all truck driver's, its easy to set up and its really easy to navigate thru all the settings. I truly like the fact that you can update the product so your always getting the latest in the gps. Great product overall, thanks Garmin keep the amazing products coming out. Thanks!!

Best GPS for trucker, always up to date, real traffic time and delays,

I’m up in the air about this, it’s definitely needed for my trucking duties, but I’m just disappointed in what you get for the price. The traffic never seems to be accurate, which is a HUGE negative and for what this costs there’s just no excuse. I do a lot of driving in NYC and it’s useless cause they label their bridge heights wrong, so it’s never going to be accurate. It works great for long distance trips where you aren’t going into any city with bridges, shows rest stops and everything, but so does the Trucker Path app. I guess it’s just hard for me to justify the price having used it for a long time now.

Very easy to use, has a lot of features. As an oversized driver u can adjust how long wide and tall I am. Plenty of stuff to customize your routes or to avoid certain roads. I’ve only used this farm in truck gps for 5 years, it will be the only gps I use.

Great GPS! Ordered tje dmaller one but it was bot as food as this one. The 10.inch has much better options and can be seen in both ways

Being an owner operator means having the best equipment for the road. This truckers GPS gets me where i need to go. Its keeps me on the main roads, notify me of scales, nearest cities, rest areas and fuel stops.

I love this GPS as a new driver im so scared i might get to a place im noy shppose to be at!!! Or tuna can my truck which is my nightmare. Take the time to learn how to use it

One of grips about this GPS is I should have got a bigger one cause where it sits on my window is a little far but it will work. Make sure you always try to update because of construction and new roads. It seems to me that it was easier to use if you have the app connected to your phone but sometimes it pulls up the previous search and maps you to wrong place your intending to go. Another complaint about this system I didn’t care for was it would route you in the most ridiculous routes that added tons of miles and hours if you don’t pay attention. Make sure to unplug when not using cause when it’s hot it will freeze or reset.

4 *’s but better than good! Gets a little wonky up north, and In recently changed construction zones. However for the price point, and the features I would definitely recommend!

This Garmin GPS is an amazing product. I am new to truck driving and this GPS has gotten me to all of my locations safely and in the exact time given for the estimated time of arrival. I also like that tge GPS lets you know the streets that trucks are allowed and also alerts when you are going above the posted speed limit. This is a great tool to have. The dislike that I have with the product is that the price which is very steep for a product that doesn’t warn of police speed traps or construction.

Works great. Easy ro set up. Using for semi truck navigation. We really appreciate the accuracy of this GPS system.
