Wow!! I had / still have the old fenix. The old watch was a beast and has lasted for many years and still works. I wanted to get this as a newer upgrade. The main thing I was looking for was an upgraded screen, heart monitor, and better battery time. The fenix 3 was not longer holding long charges but still lasted better than an apple watch. This watch is amazing. The screen is literally beyond expectations. The touch display is accurate and easy to use. I have a few watch faces downloaded and they are sweet. The heart monitor is awesome. I have setup alerts to see when my heart raises (it goes off when I get a little stressed or have too many coffee's). While this is expense, this is amazing. I would buy it again.

Watch is what you want.
This is by far the easiest and best watch by Garmin.
The flashlight you will use more than you think, without a doubt.
I use it every night to keep my sleepscore.

have had the Garmin Epix 2 since it launched in 2020. My only complaint was the battery life due to the Always-On display. Having extra watchfaces and apps all eat into your battery life. I was down to 4 days before needing a charge.
The Garmin Epix Pro 51mm solves that issue. I now have 11 days of battery with the Always-On Display.
Having the built-in LED flashlight is so handy too. The screen looks sharper but it could be the benefit of the larger screen. The new built-in watchfaces are pretty cool too.
If you really want to dress it up, get the Garmin QuickFit 26 Vented Titanium Bracelet in the matching color. Very easy to adjust to size and gives the watch that classic statement piece look.

I couldn’t be happier with my Garmin Epix Pro Gen 2, battery life is outstanding, close to 28 days till I charge it again; it has basically the same functions as the Phoenix 7, the durability of the sapphire screen is great, it screams quality and brightness. Heart rate sensor is excellent. The only downside of the watch is the music player, but besides that I’m loving it. I prefer this watch much more than the Apple Watch Ultra 2, that I also have.

All I can say is WOW! I have had three other smart watches personally, (Samsung) and family members have had multiple Apple watches. I have always thought these were quite good until I put this watch on my wrist! The functions are incredible, display-out of the world, touch response - fantastic, Golf function without phone - amazing! But the item that has really blown my mind is the battery life. I have had this for over three weeks worn it 1/3 of the days and played 4 rounds of golf AND STILL HAVE 6 Days of battery left. For a tier 1 digital watch I feel that I have hit the lottery with the Epix 2!

This happens to be my third Garmin. I started with the 6X Sapphire moved up the 7X Sapphire Solar now the epix Pro (Gen 2). This is My best Garmin yet. The emolild display is fabulous!
I love the easy to see display, it sure beats the Standard Fenix Series. It does cut a bit into battery life. However, I still get well over a week even with all my notifications on. I highly recomend this watch.

I've had the casio, pebble, android and the Garmin Fenix 5 and the Fenix 6xPro and now the Epix Pro and this is easily the best watch I have ever owned.
Beautiful screen, great battery life and tracks everything health wise you could want.
Don't waste your time on other watches.
I also converted my two daughters over from their apple watches and they never looked back.

Upgraded from Apple Ultra to Epix Pro. Wish I would have done it sooner. Training metrics blow away Apple and battery is literally unbelievable. Smart features=Apple, training and tracking=Garmin.

This is a pretty great watch. If you’ve ever had a garmin Fenix, it’s essentially the same watch with a brighter screen but the screen limits your battery comparatively and if you’re coming from Apple Ultra 2, you may want to steer clear. I came over from the ultra 2 and had to go back. You give up way too many treats such as depth and temperature of water, answering the phone, Siri. The battery is only marginally better.

Amazing upgrade! I upgraded from my Fenix 6X and i couldn't be more happy. THE SCREEN, THE SCREEN! what a huge improvement for the screen, so bright and vibrant. Plus, battery life is still out of this world. Highly recommend

Switched from iWatch

I converted from the iWatch to the German and I am glad I did! I didn't use all of the smartwatch functionality of the iWatch. I wanted something that better tracked activity, and that's what I got in the Garmin Epix Pro. I've always liked the larger watch faces and the 51mm is perfect!
You can't ask for better Battery Performance and I really like the Sleep Tracking and how it breaks things down for you.
Plus it is great on the Golf Course! I used to have the S6 Golf Watch and the Epix Pro Gen 2 seems to include the all of the benefits of the S6!
I really haven't tried to listen to music with it (I alway have my iPhone on me).
At the end of the day, you need to decide whether you want to have a watch that acts more like a Smartphone or a Watch that is more dedicated towards Activity Tracking.

Hands down the best Garmin device to date. Coming from several Instinct and Fenix models over the years. Battery life for such a gorgeous display is actually great. Able to get in multiple GPS activities a week with AOD and still enough battery to last the week and then some.

Hands down the best watch I have owned. Rugged, holds up well, tons of data, and a spectacular battery life. I use the flashlight much more than I thought I would. I would buy again and highly recommend for anyone who wants a long battery life, loads of stats, and a very well made watch.

10+ days battery life, OLED screen, rock solid, buttons for gloved use. I love it. Very hard to scratch. I had a saphire Fenix 7x for 18 months and the screen was perfect. I am NOT careful

I had the previous version and was hesitant to upgrade but I am glad I did. The flashlight alone is worth it and the battery life is amazing! If you are thinking to upgrade just do it. You will love it.
