If you’ve ever had a garmin Fenix, it’s essentially the same watch with a brighter screen but the screen limits your battery comparatively and if you’re coming from Apple Ultra 2, you may want to steer clear. I came over from the ultra 2 and had to go back. You give up way too many treats such as depth and temperature of water, answering the phone, Siri. The battery is only marginally better.

This is way more of a Sportsmans watch. battery life alone makes it worth the cost and if you’re doing anything like training for a marathon or trying to get in shape and love the data, this watch will help you achieve your goal.

I upgraded from 7x sapphire solar to the epix

I love it. Very hard to scratch. I had a saphire Fenix 7x for 18 months and the screen was perfect. I am NOT careful
