First of all this is a full featured and terrific exercise watch. First, don't be put off by the dimness of the display. In bright outdoor light it is very easy to read. The 2 negatives: 1) the band will not fit on a large circumference wrist. It only fits wrists up to about 8.5 inches and there are no longer aftermarket bands. I had to return mine because of this limitation. 2) The user manual is very, very poorly constructed. I spent hours just figuring out the basics through experimentation. Big waste of time. If you can get past those 2 negatives, it is a super workout watch!

he had the 35 which served well but gps acquisition took forever this takes seconds, battery life is way better and the round look is nice he is smaller so this watch still looks good on him. Being able to change watch faces is a great added bonus

I bought this watch because I have good experience with Garmin products before. The battery surprisingly lasted 5-6 days on a charge before needed to be plugged in. Also, the Connect app was easy to connect the Garmin watch.

I bought this smart watch for my oldest son for X-Mas. He really enjoys it very much as it keeps track and monitors his daily work out routine very efficiently.

My biggest complaint about this watch is that it takes forever to pick up the GPS satellite signal. I ran today and it took around 2 minutes to pick up the signal. I need to check this some more on a closed track, but it appears that I'm getting different distance readings when running the same distance. On the positive side, although this watch has many features and functions, I only use the time and distance functions for running. It is very easy to start and stop the timer. I'm marking "No" for whether I would recommend this to a friend, but that could change once I confirm that the watch measures distances accurately.

Love the watch has everything I need for my work out. The only thing that can be imprpve is the sound when you have intervals, it sounds very low so with the noise around you can be a challenge to hear it besides that, super easy to use and has all features I need

Amazing watch for running! The quality is great, definitely better than I expected! Garmin is a great long last brand, highly recommend if you’re looking for a running watch

Light weight. Great for all experience levels! I’m an average size female and I bought the black unisex version and I’m happy with the fit. The watch isn’t too large for my small wrist.

I really like this watch. There are a lot of good features with it, including phone finder, setting alarms, GPS mapping, and health monitoring. the charge is great and battery lasts for almost a week. its a really good quality watch

This is the fourth Garmin product I bought - this includes 3 as gifts for others - they are all alive and ticking, so to speak. Very good quality, nice features, and an excellent app to track your workouts / progress towards goals.

It’s a decent sports watch, good functionality, but it takes way too long to sync up with gps. Not an issue I’ve had with other gps tracking devices.

Great watch. This is my seconnd Garmin, and the battery on this one is better than the previous one. The treadmill function is quite off though, that's why I give it 4 stars. Otherwise, everything is great!

This watch should be able to do everything a simple garmin watch can do. It tracks pace , distance , time , heart rate , sleep, and more on the Connect IQ app.

A friend recommended to this watch. It works great and really does a great job tracking my workouts. After logging into Garmin, all of my workout are there including my other workout with an older garmin watch

The Forerunner 45 is thin and light weight with a sunlight readable display. Excellent battery life for a watch with a heart rate monitor. Syncs with my Edge 25 cycling computer so I can easily monitor my heart rate while I’m riding.

Watch works great for what I do. Provides all the feedback from my work routines, relays texts and other info from my phone via bluetooth. Battery lasts all week on a single charge.

Great running watch. Does everything I need it to as a casual runner. Just make sure you dry the watch band and your wrist after showering or sweating profusely.
