Expensive, Unreliable, Poor Customer ServicePosted
I bought this watch and less than 6 months after purchase it would reset while tracking exercise. I would lose 20 minutes of a 50+ minute exercise because of continual resets. Called Garmin, it's a "known software issue" and they clear the memory and it works for about a week. Then, upon recurrence, they decide to send me a new watch, but I have to pay a deposit to have it in less than 2 weeks. I ask if the warranty will be reset, but they decline, so no guarantee when the product lasts half of the time they say it will. I ask for a refund and they tell me to call Best Buy. The final response from the Garmin customer service was "Do you want to set up an order for a replacement or complaint about how bad the device is"? Paid a lot for an unreliable product that the company doesn't stand behind.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
