Didn’t work for me in Arizona coming from Mexico

Got caught in a huge traffic delay on the way home and this product didn’t indicate any delays or traffic. Didn’t serve its purpose at all. I’ll use the cable that it came with and get the same service for free. Also routes in the US are different than that of a live traffic newer hps system.

Great even for suburb driving

I like how I receive far more traffic updates and receive them much sooner.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As of November 2011 with Garmin Software Version 3.0, the GTM 60 does not work in many areas of the country. As best as I can tell, the GPS units compatible with this device scan all available HD Traffic sources and pick the last signal scanned rather than the strongest signal scanned. If you live in an area of the country where this happens (like the Mpls / St. Paul area), your device will not work properly. Garmin will not disclose when a fix will be made nor a timeline for a fix. If you do purchase a GTM-60, please check forums or with your local Best Buy store to make sure the GTM60 works properly in your metropolitan area. My rating is based on that the GTM 60 does not work properly in many areas due to the GPS receiver software. The GTM 60 itself does provide the proper signal to the GPS and works fine which does not do any good in some areas of the country.

Check for traffic coverage location because the coverage roll out is not complete. The GTM 60 is helpful in different states that I travel.
