I was so excited to have the sleep data this watch is offering that the apple watch doesnt offer but I have tattoos and it wont read my heart rate. I wanted to ditch my apple watch which reads just fine through them and I was hoping this being a Garmin brand that it wouldnt have that issue but it does. So disapointed. Curious to know if a higher level (cost) one would work. So bummed out.

Upgraded from an older Suunto Core. What a difference! I never got used to the Suunto menus and I would always stumble my way through doing anything. The Garmin buttons make sense, and the features are stacked by theme behind each button. Easy! Watch is fairly light, very comfortable to wear during the day and at night. It looks stylish - I do not care for colorful screens which are all (Apple Watch included) an eye sore. This is neutral looking and very readable. Battery is awesome. GPS is accurate. Sport apps are good. Only negative point is I can’t - no matter what setting I use - prevent it from lighting up at night why I move. I accidentally bumped it against a metal table and the screen was intact, and even more surprisingly the case plastic also did not dent. Great buy.

It picks up what muscles are trained and gives a break down of secondary muscles trained. This 100 better than the Samsung watch.

The best of the best. I live an active lifestyle between being a health and fitness professional, training in the gym, running, and working on a farm and this watch checks all the boxes. I love how durable and flexible it is and so much more effective than an apple watch without the distractions and bluetooth rays. The face is simple but lots of tech and garmin is unmatched. Battery life is great and the solar features are what I prefer vs having to worry about charging.

First, I had been using a FitBit Versa smart watch. I came to despise both it and FitBit customer service. The main issue was that it would stop tracking one’s progress. So when I got home, have my hike, walk, etc. was missing. And customer service would only offer such help as “make sure it is charged” and other useless advise, like the user is an idiot. So it is now in the trash. Okay, diatribe over. Now to this device. I am extremely pleased with how it works. Has all the features I had sought on that other watch, and much more. And the interface with my iPhone is fantastic. The GPS tracking is really good, as is the display on my smartphone. And the other measures are very good. Another amazing difference is the battery life. Far superior to that other hunk of junk. Equally important: customer service. I had a few issues initially. Unlike that aforementioned crappy company, the customer service folks for this devise have been very good. Very responsive and very timely. So, if torn between Garmin and FitBit devices, don’t waste your time on the FitBit. Get this Garmin watch. I really express how much I like this device!

If you dont mind not having that smart watch esthetic, this is the watch to get. Going from a smart watch you have to charge daily to this - night and day. Overall, a great watch!

I like that the battery lasts 20 days. Waterproof is nice. The watch is worn in my everyday work life. I hike and run outside. I did have to adjust my workout lengths from the treadmill setting. But, I just edit the run after I’m all done. I have used the swimming activity and it was great!. I also use the biking activity. The gps is accurate .
