Just bought it 2 days ago, so a bit early to review. I am coming off an Apple Watch and love the fact that this watch has a battery life of over 2 weeks, whereas my apple watch struggled to last a day. I like the sleep score and sensing, besides the simple interface with analog buttons. I am very happy with this watch - nothing fancy, and has all the health related sensors. And yes, it is extremely light despite the large appearance.

Do you REALLY need color on your watch or do you want a TWO WEEK BATTERY LIFE? I know what I wanted - non of this android or apple watch stuff - I want long lasting, health metrics, and durable - this does all 3.

This is the second watch I get for my husband. The 1st one (Instinct 1) he gave it to our son, who loves it, and is the only watch he is being able to wear. Lightweight and battery last forever

I’ve been using the watch for the last 2 weeks and so far so good. The watch is sleek and comfortable. I’m coming from a G-Shock that I wore daily for the last 10 years. I wanted something rugged with style while still keeping productivity. I turned off some of the notification features that were only annoying in my opinion but kept others. The customization on the watch is impeccable! I’d recommend it to anybody.

Owned for a few months, not bad performance. Great battery life and although display isn't in color, it's very visible and easy to read/use if your want to track workouts, manage messages, etc. The wrist strap is somewhat annoying with the two bands and the heart rate monitor tends to over-estimate heart rate by 10 - 20 bpm when elliptical or rowing machine, but is pretty accurate when weightlifting or running.

If you’re looking for something that will track your steps that will track your sleep and it doesn’t drain as fast as an Apple Watch. This is the way to go, battery last about 30 days. It keeps a good record of your sleep.

I've had the Garmin Instinct for two years now and it still works great and can pick up gps in remote areas well.

My first smart watch and love it. I enjoy running and hiking and this watch is perfect for tracking my HR, miles and many other stuff. I have a garmin heart rate strap that connects effortlessly when worn. Really great for running. The plastic band is comfortable and straight forward. Interacting with the watch has a bit of a learning curve but once you know where everything is at it is very well designed for easy access to whatever functions u most use. Customizing every button is possible, and the app is great! Easily syncs when u open the app and makes it easier to see all the data it has collected and displays it very well. Highly recommend, i can just imagine that higher end garmin watches must be crazy good too.

Long lasting smart watch I charge maybe once a week. The fitness tracking app has features that you have to pay extra for on other devices. The instict is durable and very lightweight. Highly recommend if you need a fitness tracker.

If you are a runner you need a Garmin. Has all you need, charge once every few weeks is the best.

Solid watch, 1-month bat duration, all kinds of resistance and proof for wild journeys, having almost all the features you can find on an Apple watch but less weight. One con I found on this one is that this version sold in the US won't support my language, and there is no way to do that. If you don't want a smaller cell phone or wrist computer, this is a good choice.

Watch is durable. I work on a drilling rig in west tx and it has survived the cold and the heat battery life is good with all the stuff turned on I can get 14 days on one charge. Water proof and brine proof no problem at all.

This watch is a great watch. Battery life last anywhere from 15 to 20 days depending on the use. I would use it every other day. Usually an 30 min to an hour half. It still would last about 15 days. It was very durable and lasted me 4 years. I bought any other garmin and thats the reason i dont have it. Still a great watch to have.

Best all around watch for the money! I am very hard on watches and wanted something rugged, durable and with a few more features. After spending days in the harshest environments and lots of abuse, the watch is still functional and still looks new. I would have liked the solar option but I find the battery life to be 25 days without a charge. This is only bc I do not have notifications on or running GPS constantly. If you are an outdoors person looking for an all around watch with some desired features, this is the watch for you.

So far has been comfortable and durable. The only issue I had was it not reading heart rate accurately during intense exercise but the Garmin chest heart rate monitor fixed that and is really easy to use.

An amazing device, all that I wanted in a smart watch and an unbelievable battery life. I charged it on day one, and haven’t charged it again, at all, and that was 2 weeks ago. More than 50% battery life remaining as of today. I don’t use all is functions which may explain a part of the amazing battery life, but of those I do use it has performed flawlessly. Could not recommend this watch enough!!

Battery life and durability are excellent! The interface is really slick and easy to use. My only gripe is that the built-in speaker for alarms and the stopwatch is a little pathetic, but that's a minor blip in an otherwise fantastic watch.
