Impulse buy to my most used fitness watch!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since buying this, I have swam, run, lifted weight, and walked with it. Many shelves and things I have accidentally hit it with and aside from the band being a little worn, the face looks brand new. The sleep prediction is a bit iffy, I have stopped wearing it at night. From time to time it doesn't perfectly track reps during strength training but fixing from the watch and/or the app is pretty straight forward.

Great multisport fitness watch.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent watch. I don't have a smartphone, and I wanted watch to track workouts, running, heartrate/HRV, and sleep patterns. The Garmin Instinct 2 checks all the boxes and functions fantastic without a smartphone. Highly recommend.

5/5 - Best Overall Fitness Watch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good fitness tracker overall, which is what I got it for, but can be a bit bulky on smaller wrists. It was also a bit difficult to find an after-market band that fit correctly, but there are some out there if you want a different style clasp or fit. Love the fact that it's all through bluetooth and you don't have to worry about a cellular plan/etc to get all the features. Battery life is killer so far as long as you don't have the GPS tracking; however, it doesn't seem to be quite as long as advertised based on first impressions, but still easily lasts weeks. All my complaints are minor (and probably a me problem mostly).

Amazing fitness tracker and watch.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from the Garmin 45. Housing broke after a few years. The instict 2 is amazing. Great for tracking long runs. Battery life, features and stats are hands down better than any of the competition.

Amazing battery life.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All of the features of Samsung and Apple, but the battery actually lasts for days. I have a new Samsung watch and my daughter has an Apple, and both have to be charged daily with minimal use. I bought the Garmin for my husband because he likes the GPS features more, and his was only at 50% after several days. May give up my own watch for one of these.

First smartwatch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have wanted a smartwatch for a while to track sleep and steps. Hated the idea of having to charge it daily. Great battery life, fast charging, comfortable enough to wear all the time.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought for my husband almost two months ago. Charge is great, lasting about 3 weeks! Very comfortable. Not too bulky at all. The button placement is better than his last Garmin.

Great Sports Watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Rugged and durable sports watch with great battery life. So versatile, it really is like a Fénix Lite. Only complaints are that the buttons can be a bit mushy and the screen is limiting compared to other watches in Garmins line up. Have bing tried the latest Fénix and Forerunner I would recommend the Instinct 2. If you can get past the screen it provides the best bang for your buck.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No dislikes, this watch is as tough as they come. I work in the excavation industry and this watch takes a beating and never skips a beat. Reliable, comfortable and easy to use. I highly recommend this watch to anyone that is hard on equipment.

A dependable watch
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very dependable watch. As a person who is very active I really appreciate the features it provides. I do a lot of hiking and running, with intermittent mountain biking and some HIIT workouts, all of which can be tracked on this watch. I also have a Apple Watch but in all reality, the data trends this watch can track about yourself is far more impressive because it holds a realistic charge of about 20 days. Wearing this day and night you can really see your resting heart rate pattern, your sleep cycles, recovery zones, and much more. If you’re a person who prefers function over fashion, you will not be disappointed. My fancy Apple Watch is collecting dust because it needs to be recharged every night but this watch will charge within 30 minutes to full battery and be ready for another 20 days, I appreciate this. Low maintenance and high functionality for my every day life

Great watch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like all the features but two items to point out. 1. Have recharged watch twice so far since owned and definitely did not get 20+ days; closer to 10. Not sure if there are settings that make it last longer or what but i do wear it 24/7. Its still impressive at 7-10 days IMO. 2. I dont like that the app doesnt track my workouts live so i can review progress during my workout. It only updates once workout is complete and syncs. Also worth mentioning that my wife and i run our peloton app at the same time while we walk and the Garmin watch mileage is always slightly more (ex. 5 mile walk on Garmin is 4.8 on our phones' peloton app (she has iphone, i have android) but i beleive Garmin is more accurate.

Long life!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased for the long battery life and the GPS as my phone would sometimes lose GPS on hikes in areas that I would not consider remote or obstructed. (Kettle Morraine areas of southeastern Wisconsin.) I have not been disappointed!
