Awesome battery life, unlike other smart watches that you have charge every night, this thing lasts at least 2 weeks and 3 at the most. Outdoor run with GPS tracking and heart rate monitoring, but aside from that it is basically a Casio G-Shock watch. I don’t care about the uni-color and non-touch screen. But if you do, this watch is not for you. The only thing i think would be very useful is that the camera capture remote connectivity with the watch and the phone.

so far so good. battery holds charge really well. lightweight.

Bought this watch for my husband and he loves it. He uses the Alpha 100 while hunting and this syncs with it to be able to see where his dogs are

This watch offers everything it says it does and more if you do the research. Battery definitely last at least 14 days with actice use. My preferred watch when im doing deep woods hiking. If you dont do to much outdoors activities i would go with a more modern watch.

Got as a gift for my brother and he loves it. It’s a rugged build and battery last for a long time compared to typical smart watches. He’s into military style apparel and this definitely fits his taste.

My Fitbit watches kept dying off early, it was initially hard to make the switch. This watch is perfect, I haven’t had any issues with it so far. I’m in the Navy and do quite a bit DIYs at home, plenty of opportunities to bang it up, holds up just fine. Battery life is amazing compared to any other smart watches/fitness bands I’ve owned.

This watch has a lot. No it's not touch screen. No it's not in color but it does everything other smart watches does and a few things others don't. Garmin put much of their navigation expertise and health tracking into the instinct. I wear my watch all day and night.... It keeps track of all of my activities. Love it.

Love this watch! If you are a regular user, and you what the feature of watch and a long lasting battery (1 month without changing) this is the watch for you. I don't use for sports but working all day on your feet and not worrying thet your watch will no last your work day, this great. The tracking gps system work great, it make my traveling more memorable do to I can see how much walking you did, all free! Goos for sports and regular user. If you work outside, I recommend the solar one, it will last you forever.

Very happy with this purchase! Had an Apple Watch Series 3 a couple years ago and wasn’t crazy about it. Felt like I was gonna break it constantly (I broke it twice in 3 years) and it’s just had a few too many bells & whistles. Plus the millions of notifications were too much. This Garmin Instinct is perfect! More rugged, more focused on giving you fitness and useful information and is surprisingly lightweight and comfortable. Only “downside” I can think of is that it’s been a little difficult remembering which buttons to push to find things but I’m sure that will get easier with time. Would recommend to anyone even thinking about buying!

Great watch that takes a learning curve coming from a regular timepiece. Bought to integrate with my garmin alpha dog tracking so time will tell how awesome it is. There are numerous functions that can be done with this so be prepared to YouTube.

Great battery. Activity tracking like daily steps, sleep and heart rate are optional. I ran a 10k but the daily steps were off, so even when I turned the activity tracking on, the daily steps never came on. Lost 5 days of daily activities. Audio prompts have to be activated for every use. Doesn’t remain on. Otherwise great watch. Lightweight too.

I work in the irrigation field. I was looking for a tough watch where i can get it muddy and/or wet. This is the watch for that. I highly recommend

Very pleased with the Instinct watch. Fills the need for hiking and has many features I am still learning about. Monochrome display is offset by the lower cost of the watch. It is more capable in some ways than my color Samsung Active 2 watch for outdoor activities. Much better than my old Garmin Forerunner. The heart monitor reads significantly lower than the Samsung, similar to my old Forerunner. Haven't figured out which is more accurate. I do lose the heart rate monitor frequently which is annoying, (must be positioned just right) but love the multiple screens during exercise. Super battery life.

This watch offers a great battery life, a nice yet simple user interface which is great if you would like to see your notifications on the go. With the app provided by Garmin this watch tracks your calories, steps, and activities relatively simply. The casing is nice too, so far no scratches from daily wear.

I use this mostly when I officiate high school football, riding my bike, and out for a walk. Very durable. The track me is awesome when on the football field during a game, on a bike ride or walk. So many features I don't use, but are there if I need them. I don't think you can go wrong by using this.

My uncle wanted a watch like my galaxy gear S3 Frontier, but he mostly uses his current watch (cheap 12 dollar knockoff fitbit) for fitness tracking. So i got him this instead of the Frontier, as this tracks fitness stats way better than my Frontier, and the battery lasts way longer. so far, he's completely satisfied with it!
