He bought this because he wanted a smart watch. I recommended an Apple Watch because I love mine. He didn’t like “how it looked girly” and he was pretty picky on choosing a watch. Took him months to find the right one. He loves the way it looks, it’s features, the size, and how comfortable it is.

The GPS function is somewhat confusing. I am still trying to figure it out. 2 different apps are needed. One for the "health / smartwatch" and one for the GPS. The GPS app is pretty cool. You can download a topo area of choosing and I believe this feature is useable even without cell service (after you down load the area you want). During smartwatch operation I got about 2 weeks of use during the first charge.

This was surprisingly more watch than I thought it was going to be. Has the basic functions but also has more abilities that I didn't realize I wanted and now use daily.

Great watch. Wanted something different than the apple watch so swapped to the Garmin and I love it. I only charge it once every three to four weeks.

I've had this tracker for a bout a month and i still haven't been able to use all of the functions that come with it. I really like the battery life. Depending on how active i am it will last between 2 to 2 and a half weeks. No touch screen but that is not something that i was looking for. Give it a try, I recommend it.

Bought for Dad for christmas, and he loves it! Lightweight, comfortable, and fits large wrists!

I love how long the battery lasts on this watch! If you're looking for non-fancy watch and want it to last you a long while, this is the perfect watch!

Got tired of charging my Apple Watch everyday and wanted to try something with features more aimed towards outdoor activities and glad I made the choice for the Instinct! Battery life is awesome I’m getting around 2 weeks between charges and it does everything I need it to flawlessly.

I PURCHASED THIS GARMIN INSTINCT TO REPLACE MY FITBIT CHARGE 3, AFTER IT WAS HAVING SOFTWARE ISSUES. IT FEELS LIKE A STURDY WATCH AROUND YOUR WRIST. IT IS A LITTLE THICKER AT THE TOP THAN WHAT I WAS USED TO WITH THE FITBIT. THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT COME WITH ARE NOT THE BEST. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT ALL IT CAN DO, IS TO WATCH YOUTUBE VIDEOS, AND IT WILL HELP YOU UNLOCK MOST OF ITS POTENTIAL. STILL PLAYING WITH WHEN I GET A CHANCE. I LIKE THE APP ON YOUR PHONE THAT YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD. GOT IT ON SALE, AND USED SOME BEST BUY GIFT CARDS TO HELP WITH THE PURCHASE.

The watch works great, battery life is excellent. It does what it promises and it's sad that, that makes it a cut above other products.

Been very happy with so far, a lot of weight training and outdoor activity tracking. GPS and Altitude and stairs tracking Heart rate monitoring, And lots more! Happy with purchase and was able to get $50 knocked off price from Best Buy when it was on sale the next week in hot buys!

I needed to replace my vivoactive and wasn't sure how I'd feel about the monochrome display, but it is very well designed. The button-function works great and activities are easily captured. Like any watch, it takes a bit to get fully oriented, but performs well with excellent battery life.

Bought for my husband to replace his Fitbit that didn't even last a year before it stopped working. He loves it! The battery lift is AMAZING!!

This watch is everything I was looking for. It’s very sturdy and strong. I doubt that I will ever be able to accidentally break. I mainly use the running widget and it’s the best! Mile times, pace time, distance, and heart rate! The app with the watch is great too! Shows you all of your stats!

Amazing watch! I charge it about what seems once a month and only needs like 30 minutes to charge it appears!

Bought this watch for my fiancé for Christmas. He wanted it for hunting, however started using it as an every day watch. He loves it. Super cool and useful features.

Love this watch. Looks a little bit tactical, gps works great, water proof, and very durable. I work construction and wear it everyday. So far no damage.

I've been looking at smartwatches for a while but they didn't fit my need. Coming from a g-shock this was exactly what I wanted. It's rugged, simple and doesn't beep at me every 5 seconds. Tracks my fitness and it's simple to use. Exactly what I wanted.

Bought for work and has served me well doing land navigation. Selected this one over the solar for the price advantage and haven’t regretted it. Battery lasts for days unless you use the gps a lot. Able to change to work off of MGRS which is good for me. Only negatives I can say is the buttons press themselves sometimes when working which can be solved with key lock function, and wish I could do voice to text when it’s linked to my phone. Overall rugged watch that I recommend to my friends and coworkers often.

Took a bit getting used to it after using an Apple Watch for so long but it is pretty good. Great battery life & it’s a great size.
