Clear picture day and night. Easy to use app. Wish it would have come with a cable in between sizes. It comes with a 4 foot and a 13 foot cable.

I wanted something small and unobtrusive. I installed this one behind my rear view mirror, and I don't even notice it. Video quality is very good, and the Garmin app is easy to use.

Outstanding product. Very easy to set up. Fits right behind the mirror and has an excellent field of view. The recordings are crisp and clear. Requires an SD card.

I bought 2 of these as I read good reviews, one for my car one for my wife’s car both units were easy to install and use . On day one of purchasing This definitely came in handy as a driver pulled a u turn from a 4 lane without warning , the footage was great and would have definitely helped Incase of an accident , easy to connect 2 units to 1 phone with out any problem . Just a warning as some people have had a similar issue , when updating to the newer firmware some units get stuck in the upgrade loop and will stop functioning , I had to warranty one unit for this reason. Other then that I love this dash cam and would buy another .

Item was returned. The quality and small size were perfect, but the video saving and playback were not what I was looking for.

It works great for what it is. There is no screen like most models , but it records video that can be viewed on your phone. Also sends notifications of events.

After trying many dash cams for much more money Garmin Mini is the best so far, easy to install and maintain, great video quality

very small unit with good basic functions. 10 minutes to install. uses bluetooth connectivity from an iPhone app. Easy to use and great value.

I appreciate the form factor as I hardly notice it in my car, and the numerous passengers I've had in my car can attest to that as well. I hardwired it of course as I wanted something that wouldn't be noticeable and obstruct my view. This comes at the cost of moving the interface to an application that you must download to your smartphone rather than an on device screen w/ buttons. For the most part, after downloading the application it is mostly plug in play, except if you want to hardwire it instead of using the car adapter. While I do have my dash cam hardwired, I did it in the way that it would turn off with the car so I've been unable to test out parking mode as I'm not interested in recording while the car is parked & off. Besides that, I definitely recommend this dash cam.

Awesome portable and small dash cam. Easy to route cable and very discreet. Quality is great (1080p, 30 FPS) and is wide angle to capture everything.

This is the dashcam that doesn't flash you have a dashcam... I purchased 1 for each of my vehicles. Great video quality yet very small!

The Garmin Dash Cam Mini doesn't have a display and you must rely on your phone for it. You'll need to download the Garmin Drive app which pairs your phone with the camera via Bluetooth, then engages its Wi-Fi hotspot for further communications. The Dash Cam Mini lacks GPS which might be less than optimal for legal use and documenting travels. It's unobtrusive and takes good video. It's definitely worth consideration if you're on a budget.

This is a great gadget. I purchased as a gift for my husband and he loves it. Clear picture with audio. Easy to install and use.

Love it! It’s small, good quality video, takes a second to load live footage but that doesn’t bother me. Overall definitely a good buy.

best dash cam of this size, amazing quality for such a tiny camera and the software is pretty solid because it is from Garmin

Easy to set up and use. It's small and compact and easy to review the videos. You do need to buy your own memory card, though.

Good quality image, does the job. I would recommend to have Best Buy install it for you. It is not expensive and they will do a great job. If you want more like a DIY then I would recommend center left edge of windshield, right below the eyesight Line. It will allow you to put the cable hidden by the door, and if you connect it with an OBT to microUSB cable it will be virtually invisible. (OBT-microUSB is sold in Amazon) Now, the app connection is SLOW! Hopefully Garmin fixes that in future updates .

Camera works great! Easy to link to my phone. I had it hardwired by the Best Buy Installer. I couldn't be more happy.
