It works great, love the features and well worth the price. best buy associates helped tremendously to explain features and helped us with our choice. The real test will be on a long trip, coming up.

Great graphics, great warning of traffic, love how it tells you what services are up coming. Have an older Garmin GPS and this one is superior.

My old GPS stopped working so I had to purchase a new one. After checking out a few different models, I decided on this one. I like it alot. Easy to use, large screen makes it easy to see.

Previously, I purchased 2 refurbished Garmin units in Dec. and one died quickly. I thought about changing brands but found this unit at a reasonable price. It is much easier to find streets because of the predictive street pop up. It notifies me of school zones, which saved me from getting a ticket. I am in Real Estate, so it also allows me to put in multiple addresses at one time and as I reach each destination, it starts giving directions to the next. So far nothing but good things to say about this unit.

I haven't used this enough to know all the features available, so far I am pleased with the graphics and the details on screen. After trading in my Toyota Rav4 which had an integrated GPS in the dash, this Garmin is by far better because the graphics and colors are more vibrant and there is more detail given, even though their screen was larger. The only complaint I have is the screen dims automatically. It's possible there is a way to change that but I haven't taken the time to go through all the instructions.

This GPS was very easy to set up and use. We had just moved to Chapel Hill and this has been a "life saver" for day-to-day driving directions. Overall input and use was very easy and intuitive. Directions seem to be very precise. The only issue is that we can't seem to be able to use it without being plugged in the power source. Overall, a great product for a fair value.

Easy to use for elderly parents, has a large screen with easy touch for large finger. Easy menu for them to navigate.

Gotta get going with Garmin! Garmin keeps me on the not so straight and not so narrow when I'm out on the road. From twisty turns to straight shots my Garmin can get me there. I like being able to set avoid toll roads, or avoid highways, or simply to take me home. Whether exploring the country-side or navigating in big cities (Chicago for example.) I don't get lost. For someone who admits she is directionally challenged this is a huge plus. Now if it could only find a parking place.

After trying out 3 GPS models (of different brands) I chose my first Garmin, back in 2008. That GPS was no longer working well so I put it away and started using my phone for directions. That caused me to have to update my data package so I went back to Best Buy, to find my next Garmin. I like everything about this unit, although I wish I could SPEAK directions or an address into the unit, instead of tapping it out. It does make a bit of a grinding noise, when it is searching for the entered address. Otherwise, I am more than pleased with the quality and options on this GPS!!

This is my first GPS, and it didn't disappoint, easy to use and worked great . Love the lane assist feature. Would recommend to anyone to buy this model

This device is the right size . . . not too small or big. It is easy to use and has all of the basic features you would expect. A great GPS for a good price.

Very pleased with this GPS, I did a lot of comparison shopping and the NUVI has all the features I was looking for and then some. It even has lots of fun icons besides the usual arrow location pointer and lots of different voices that will talk to you while your traveling. The school zone warning is a real bonus. If the GPS had an input for a backup camera it would be awesome.

This is my 3rd Garmin. I chose to get the 2557LMT because I could not hear the Iphone Google Maps audible directions. I am less distracted while driving while using the 2557MLT than when navigating with a smart phone. I tried both my Iphone and my daughters Samsung Galaxy S4, using Google Maps. The larger screen and louder voice of the 2557LMT made for a superior performance, especially with Traffic Warnings. One negative is that Google Maps does a better job locating things.

Still learning how to use it but overall I really like it. It has traffic avoidance which works when the cord is plugged in. The lane guidance feature is very helpful. It will often tell you to be in a certain lane which is nice. Would like if it could give you this info a little sooner though. I was also looking for one that had lifetime map and traffic updates and this one does. Overall this is a great product. Way better GPS than what came with the iPhone5.

I got this at an attractive price because it will soon be replaced by a new model. It is easy to use with a clear display. The outside corners are sharp, and will scratch the inside of the dash cubby where I have it mounted as I install or remove it. Not a problem for most users though. Although there is more of a learning curve in order to take advantage of all it's features, it is not difficult. It will just take more experience to unlock the rest of it's capabilities.

I love this Garmin. I bought this for occasional travel. I love how it's very accurate and up to date. Very easy to navigate and works great.

Better look than traditional one. It may loose the battery backup performance, if it exposed to extreme temperature. Traffic update is very helpful.

This GPS is worth every penny. Lifetime map update and traffic update works great. Very easy to follow. sleek and slim design. overall very good GPS.
