Perfect for my big pickup truck. A bit pricey, but well worth the money. I had Best Buy do the installation for the backup camera and its interfaces to backup signal and power. The instructions are okay, at best. The technician tied directly into my truck's 12 volt source, not the tail light for power, as some tail lights don't have sufficient power for reliable wireless transmission to GPS unit. You adjust camera zoom angles (up/down and left/right) from very intuitive menu option on GPS. GPS also has good voice commands for directions, nice size, good picture, and can also connect to car stereos with Bluetooth. Am very happy with this unit.

I like the 7-inch screen a lot, makes for easy navigating. Always gets you where you want to go - not always on the most logic route, but it gets you there and saves you a lot of frustration and gas. One thing: The built-in Bluetooth is a nice feature, but the sound quality could stand improvement.

Large screen display, Bluetooth back up camera ready ( now in use) Bluetooth cell feature, easy to update maps, speed limit display helps prevent tickets, what's not to like. May I suggest purchasing the AC vent mount to aide in keeping the unit within reach and sight. Windshield mount is so yesterday... Family and friends have noted Santa will be getting them a similar unit in five months.

This is the best GPS we have owned. The lane assist feature is great when driving in unfamiliar areas. We have had several false destinations when searching and selecting business locations.

Purchased this GPS to replace an older one of the same brand with a smaller screen. I love the larger screen, which makes it much easier to see the details, and the brightness and clarity are very strong. The voice command function works well, and touch screen is responsive. Overall a great unit that I would recommend to anyone.

Very user-friendly. Large screen is easy to see. Split Display of upcoming exit and current location is neat.

We bought this GPS for our son. He is getting to the age when he needs reading glasses. We chose this make for the good reviews and this model for the large screen. Our son reports that he loves it. Not only is the screen large but the features of the Garmin software are very helpful when in a strange city.

Nice size and its durable. The screen looks well made because I dropped it in my car once and luckily no scratches. However, it does have minor error's when guiding me on the road. When I get lost I find my way with the GPS that's my main purpose of the purchase.

Was very surprised by voice commands. Wasn't aware it had this feature. Is helps a lot when driving and u need to find a place, but don't want to pull over and stop. Only problem, it gives traffic info after u already know.

This is an excellent directional device. We used it during our commuting in Washington state and for our relocation to California and it performed admirably. As with any system it can lead you down a wrong turn but that is few and far between. We opted for the 7 inch screen which is spot on! Don't go cheap on the screen size. This unit includes all updates and is well worth the purchase price.

Had problems out of the box. Would not start or connect to the computer. I called Garmin Tech Support. We tried several "fixes" and had to finally do a complete reset. That worked, and now it is working fine. The Traffic actions work much better than the older model I had.

I really like my GPS I use it when I go back and forth to Texas and works great.

Works great, easy to see and understand would recommend it to everyone...

I've own several Garmin gps and by far this is the best.

Ive been a tom tom guy ever sence they came out with gps devices. Ineeded a new and tomtom didnt have any at the time. Imiss my tomtom.

I have not had a chance to travel but looking forward to this summer to use my Garmin 2789

The product functioned perfectly for 16 months and then failed completely (will not turn on). Warranty is only 1 year. If you buy Garmin products from Best Buy include the price of their service contract - you will need it!
