I brought it home, registered it, updated the maps, put it in my car, looked up addresses, and promptly returned it. It seems it doesn't recognize any addresses outside my medium sized city of 200,000. It says my childhood home back in DC doesn't exist. It says the VA Palo Alto Hospital, one of the largest in the VA system doesn't exist, and it says my brother's house 90 miles away doesn't exist. I also can't seem to get the local time to stick. It seems to want to stay in Zimbabwe time. I don't live in Zimbabwe, so that's a little annoying. That's the first and last Garmin I buy. My phone does better than that. Now if it only gave voice prompts and traffic alerts.
