This GPS was perfect for our trip to Florida. It performed perfectly and we were able to hear the directions clearly. The camera is great and very clear.

Combining a camera, gps and accident avoidance this is a great safety device that can prove your are right in an accident. Every one should have one.

I had previously owned a Garmin Dash Cam 20 and a Nuvi 2597 GPS unit and bought this to consolidate them into one unit and save dashboard space. I like the glass touchscreen, and the ability for the Dash Cam to accept 64GB SD cards. It has a major issue with the bluetooth syncing which Garmin has still yet to address. I have had their smartphone app, which syncs with the unit to give real time traffic, weather, etc. With the Nuvi 2597 it worked perfectly, even launched the app upon startup of the GPS. With the NuviCam, not only do you have to manually launch the app from your phone yourself, it disconnects itself from your phone about a minute into your drive, and you have to manually disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth to get it to stay engaged. I'm disappointed Garmin didn't put more time into this unit and fix that issue before it went to market. $399 is a very high asking price for a unit still in beta testing.

I used to scoff at the cads who would pay more than $100 for a GPS. Who could possibly need anything more than a basic TomTom? *pshaw* I've had three Garmin products now and two of them have been the premium units with high-res glass screens. They are not only absolutely stunning in presentation, but very practical, functional and helpful. I know this is a lot to pay, but with the added bonuses of the dash cam (something I think is a good idea for anyone these days) and the option of a backup camera (which I ordered and was easy to install) it was the perfect upgrade to my car. By the way, my car is a 2012 VW with factory nav. As with most factory navs, it bites, and I pretend it doesn't even exist with this Garmin proudly attached to my windshield. I hid the cord between the dash and windshield and installed a dedicated ignition-on power receptical just below the dash to accommodate the power plug.

I can drive and find locations with commands and the video is a great idea in case of accidents? i can also add a backup cam to the unit, but to pricey for now. dont know about blutooth, I dont use it Neg- limited number of commands and the unit is not 100% compatible to your voice. we have a game in the car , who is the first one to can say address or location which NUVI can recognize. only reason i gave it 4 stars but worth having both hands on steering wheel.

I love this garmin very easy to use does everything pretty much bluetooth works great the camera is in hd records even after you get out of the vehicle. I would highly recommend this.

I had the nüvi 2595LMT prior to this model and the nüvicam LMTHD is a definite upgrade. Not only is the screen larger but the processor is faster and the internal memory holds more. With the cellular phone sync, the unit can lookup information that it does not already maintain in its internal database from Foursquare. The six inch HD screen is much easier to read, especially if the unit is more than an arm's length away. The unit will split the screen and show you alert information without obscuring the map. The sensitivity of the Forward Collision Alert is too high while the sensitivity for the Lane Departure Alert is too low.

It's excellent GPS. The best, with camera, show me the place exactly what I want to go and the pictures. short and easy way

I've only had it 2 days and love it so far. I was shocked at the large size when I took it out of the box but I got used to it quick. The dash cam is awesome.

The directions are typical Garmin. The size is great. The dash cam is great. It's a little expensive,but worth it to have one unit for both GPS and camera.

I mainly got it because of the camera fungi in and size! It works great and the display is very nice. I have no complains except price haha a bit pricy

It's an amazing deal, you get a GPS/Dashcam that works just about flawlessly. I love being able to use voice command, it's extremely smart and picks up just about all your words. I have had no problems, in fact I love this device. The Garmin video software is getting better with every update and it's really wonderful to see all the unique features on this device. You can't beat it for $400, it shoots in 1080p as well.

This has everything I was looking for in a GPS. Good size, voice recognition, lifetime maps, dash cam- all at a reasonable price ($300). The wireless backup camera is a great addition ($150). Also changed the chips to max size (under $20 each). All from Best Buy. The GPS directions are great. Differentiates between traffic lights and stop signs - nice touch. Rapid update on routes. ( Shortest route may send you on some scenic routes - not all bad.) I have found speed limits are incorrect on some roads even after latest update. The side alarms occur too frequently but the alarms are not annoying. Collision detection appears to work well. Unit displays road names - not route numbers. Have not checked if there are options. Would actually appreciate both. The voice recognition works - but enunciation is important and we have had some amusing responses. The suction mount REALLY sticks - but because of windshield curve the angle is not ideal. Trying a dash mount. Removal and replacing on the mount is amazing. The magnet is powerful and snaps into place correctly every time.

Very nice large easy to read GPS unit.. Nice and secure window mount and GPS just attaches to it with magnets in unit.. Easy to remove unit just pull off mount and stow when not in use..power cord goes into mount. Would buy it again. Garmin just came out with a 2015/2016 upgrade for maps and such was easy to upgrade just plug into computer follow steps.

Good size screen. Great garmin gps. I would recommend this GPS.

This is the best GPS I've ever own. The traffic service is excellent and the turn by turn instructions are perfect. For example the unit will tell you to make a turn at the next light, stop sign or even a landmark such as a casino. The screen size is huge and might not fit so well in a Smart Car but for larger vehicles it's perfect. You will need to pick up a case to protect the screen from scratches, which is an additional $20.00

I was looking for a dash cam when my GPS was damaged and stop working correctly. So I bought this one because it has a dash cam included. It works great. the video is good and this Garmin has so much more than my old one. the voice command sucks but everything else is awesome.
