    Had a regular car GPS with Garmin and have upgraded to the vehicle and camper one for the most part it is a good machine sometimes when I know where I'm going; it gives goofy responses. I love that it gives the upcoming intersections I love that the upgraded one has what roads you're on.

    We returned the Garmon RV Navigator so that may tell you what you need to know. In short, I could not trust it although i needed something to protect me (13'8" tall and about 11 tons in weight). The picture screen is amazing. Really liked it and most highway intersection/turn lane(s) mapping. Just occasionally in my 2 week trial, it would send me some place I did not want to go, or send me the long, out-of-way place when a straight shot was available. Sadly, I can trust Google maps on my phone as much as this .... and they both have shortcomings.

    Just did our first trip with it and I like better then the one in the car. Has good features like warming you of upcoming curves and food stops on your way. Geared more toward RV users.

    We use this with our truck camper. Seems to work fine. There are settings to use when just in your car without a high clearance vehicle.

    The Garmin worked great but there was a bit of a learning curve, since it was not as simple as my old Garmin. A manual would have been nice.
