Directions are great but the Alexa part is even better! Easy to set up and use.

This is a fantastic item. I had it installed by Best Buy, and I really enjoy it. I like all types of music, and you can play any songs you want. The dash cam is great, clear pictures. If you have Best Buy install it, with the purchase of the wiring needed approx. $20.00 you do not need to plug it into the cigarette lighter. You can not go wrong with this purchase.

Great camera, good resolution, easy to setup, easy to check

I really love it. I bought two one for my car and one for my daughters. With the smart lock on the door we can come home and just tell Alexa to unlock the door and turn on the lights if needed. The dash cam is great and can save you a lot I would think in an accident. Neither of us has really tried the navigation as we both have it in our vehicles and on our phones.

It is much smaller than I thought it would be. We haven’t be able to get sound out of it by syncing it to the radio yet. There is no instructions to help with it. It guides you on the gps but it doesn’t work.

This was a gift for my wife. She loves Alexa but we are having a hard time getting it connected with our truck. We are going to give it another shot and see what happens.

I like this idea. It’s a great concept that needs a little bit more work. Connectivity to the app isn’t the greatest but it still gets the job done. I would like this product in the future to have a rear view camera option. Making this a 2+ channel camera would be a good option.

Plus...Lane departure assist and alerts to traffic slowing in front or moving, Less, phone connectivity needed for best results. Constant switching of phone calls between device and other blue tooth connection. Sometimes device and app has to be restarted so as to sync. Alexa is so so for this item. Maybe just a bit too much. All in all a good product

This is a nice product.......after you get it setup. It took me months to get it going. Now that it is setup it works nicely.

This works really well and is nice and small and doesn’t take up a ton of room. As long as you have a good signal this works awesome. If you’re a big Alexa user this is familiar territory.

I’ve been using it now for about a week or so and I’m happy that the camera part is working great, but the Alexa part was hit or miss.

The Garmin Speak Plus is a great concept but it does come with a few flaws. It packs so many awesome features into such a tiny package. Starting with setup, it is pretty simple as it just comes with the GPS and a power cord. You simply stick it to your window and then route the chord and plug into a cigarette lighter. This comes to my first downfall. It attaches to the window with a sticky. I wish there was a better way to attach to the window such as a suction cup. This being said, it doesn’t fall down easily. Connecting to the app was simple as downloading and following the instructions to connect. My next down fall is that it at times had connection issues. This included losing data connection when trying to navigate. In addition to that if you want to see live video from the dash cam or look at saved footage you have to disconnect it from Bluetooth, connect through your phone Wi-Fi, and use another app. I also have yet to find a way to get the SD card out of the camera to view the footage on the computer. The footage that it does capture is great if you are able to actually use it. When I went to download a clip that was 3 mins long it got about halfway done (after 10 mins) but then the connection failed and I could not get the clip. In regards to the video quality and the forward collision/lane departure warnings, it is all great and even impressed me in the dark. The navigation worked well and was simple to read the directions. The only downfall was that I couldn’t really find anyway in the app to stop navigating or change route. My last flaw about the device is the audio. You have two options, the audio can come out of the device itself or through your vehicles Bluetooth. When I drive I normally listen to my radio and you cannot simultaneously listen to the radio and Bluetooth audio. I also tried having the audio go through the Speak Plus but the speaker was not loud at all and it took my phone call audio through the speak plus with this option as well. Overall this device can do a lot and I will be integrating it into my daily drives. I am hoping that with future updates all the little flaws will be fixed. The flaws are not enough to steer me away from this device but if you do not need everything this device offers a standalone GPS or dash camera could be a better option.

This device is a decent navigator, a decent dash-cam, and having Alexa in your car can be fun/useful. However, it doesn't excel at any of these functions, only integrates them all into one device.
