    This Garmin Vehicle Charger is a nice charger for your Garmin GPS unit. I bought this charger for a second vehicle that I own and as a backup charger in case the original charger that came with the GPS unit breaks. The charger works fine to power the unit but please note that it doesn't have the capability to pick up live traffic updates. If you want live traffic updates, you'll have to get a different charger (Garmin TA20) that Best Buy doesn't sell.

    I was in Minneapolis for a one week vacation touring the state. The first morning of the trip I discovered that my Garmin Charger wire was broken, and I could not operate the GPS device. I was in big trouble. But I found this cable at a Best Buy just two miles from my hotel. it worked perfectly and saved my vacation. Thanks Best Buy for carrying this and having convenient locations around the country!

    The only issue was finding the right part while I was in the store. The first two clerks read the package and decided it would not be compatible with my Garmin. Finally in asking a third clerk which item was compatible with my GPS unit he advised the same item the first two had rejected and he was right. It worked just fine.

    Forgot the cable for my new Garmin when I packed for our trip and needed to use it in my rental car. My Garmin had all of the stops entered by GPS coordinates, so I really needed the cable. Popped into the closest BestBuy and they had the Garmin cable - FANTASTIC - works great, and all of my planning and location entries were spot-on (genealogical tour of cemeteries). Saved my bacon with the boss...
