Purchased it not certain I would get the full benefit from it. Pleasantly surprised with the amount of activities and time it captures, along with the detail of the activity. From a health tracking alone it is very useful. Battery life is between 6 and 10 days depending on what I'm using it for. Add in the emails and texts usage, I really like it.

I’ve had the Garmin Venu 3 on my wrist for a while now, and here’s how I really feel about it: First off, I love the battery life ; it easily lasts way longer than other smartwatches I’ve used, and I don’t have to charge it every single day, which is a huge plus. Even when I keep features like the always-on display and workout tracking turned on, I still get several days of use before needing a charge, which makes life a lot easier.

I switched from an apple smartwatch to this garmin and im so happy I did. The battery life on these alone would be enough for me to stay with garmin. They seem to be more durable that I initially thought plus the features and ease of use automatically make this watch well worth the price

great battery life, accurate sleep tracking, accurate body battery! only issue is that the body and metal casing scuff up pretty easy - would recommend getting the black instead of white. i got this on sale for 350usd. also both the venu 3 and venu 3s look fine on smaller wrists, i have little toothpick wrists, but the font is bigger on the venu 3. it's more like the venu 3 is the blown up version of the venu 3s, its not that you can see more on the screen, its just that everything is bigger.

Venu 3 - Great smartwatch for active users

I'm a long-time Apple watch user and I am loving the Garmin Venu 3. It's nicer looking, has a better/larger display and I can wear it 24/7 as it holds a charge for days. The decision points are simple... if you're just looking for the best smartwatch for comms and apps, then the Apple has an edge. But, if you're an active person who plays some sports (almost any sport, I use it for golf and cycling) this is far better than the Apple watch. The cycling function on my Garmin watch was too limiting... the Garmin allows you to customize your data fields and you can see a mirage of data for your activity. All the other lifestyle and health apps on the Garmin are just far far superior, more nuanced, more detail and more intuitive. Screen size is perfect... I have small wrists and it is a big display without looking like I am wearing a clock. N\It's not as thick as other Garmin watches either.

I was deciding between the Instinct 3 and Venu 3, and decided to go with the Venu. So far I have been happy with my choice. I enjoy the health metrics that it measures. I have not really tested if the battery lasts as long as it reports it will, since I just charge it about once a week when it gets to be around 20-30%. I was worried how durable it would be, and so far I haven't had any issues. I was not a fan of the watch band that it came with, so I got the ultrafit nylon strap and I love it.

I'm in the garmin universe as a cyclist and have a long love hate with them. The watch is the same. It's paired to my Samsung phone and my garmin connect. Battery life amazing 3 plus days. Display great. Phone integration moderate. I'm poor at it and i couldn't really get them to work well. Replying to texts is really tough. I couldn't figure out of there is a voice to text option Ring app integration amazing with full color thumbnail preview. However automatic activity detection for me is terrible. Won't start cycling. Seems to start running and walking mostly.

Accurate, durable, light. It was a little to big for my wrist, hence uncomfortable for sleeping. Besides that great overall.

So glad i finally made the upgrade from the Venu 1. So many more features and it doesnt lie about the battery life being around 14 days. I love the larger screen making it so much easier to read multiple things on the main screen. Color and brightness is great.

Best watch ever for health monitoring

I have been an avid Samsung watch user for some time now starting with the galaxy watch and most recently the watch 4. I had been looking at upgrading when Samsung came out with a software release that pretty much killed the health monitoring and decided I had enough. After a lot of research I decided to try the Venu 3 as my most important requirements are health monitoring. I should have gone with a Garmin a long time ago! After owning this watch a couple weeks I am happier with it than I have ever been with any of the Samsung watches. The battery life is incredible. The health tracking and monitoring funtions are great as are the activity trackers. The only issue I have found is it does not seem to record floors well but I believe that is an issue with me and how slow I am to go up and down due to physical issues. If you are looking for an Android compatible watch with a focus on health monitoring buy this one and just stay away from the others you will not regret it.

I purchased his one in Sep 2023 and have had and used it long enough to say this is an excellent choice of you want a smart watch that lives long enough to be really be useful. It says up to 14 days, and I've seen it go 12 before needing to be charged. Garmin pay works as expected with no issues. GPS is highly accurate. One of the more interesting features is the body battery and recovery tips which after about a month (it says 2 weeks) is surprisingly accurate. After 5 months of use battery life hasn't changed, and there's been a few features that have been unlocked since it released. If you're swapping from Samsung there's a few smart features you'll miss. Images don't always show from messages, and there's a bit of a learning curve with navigating the menu options (buttons are reversed). The exercise functions are where this one really shines. It actually does catch repetitions for things like weight lifting, kayaking, and the numerous other activities with speaker volume loud enough to hear fairly well. Overall, I'd recommend for people who want the best of both smart watch and fitness tracker.

I struggled to choose this watch when the Fenix 7 Standard was available for the same price ($200 off its regular price). I think it was ultimately the ECG app that was the difference maker, as only the much pricier Fenix 7 models included that. The built-in speaker and mic were also advantages for the Venu 3, but I didn't figure I would even use those. Wow was I wrong about that, as I'm finding it very convenient to pick up calls on my watch. The lightweight and thin profile is what I like most about this watch though, and the incredibly bright and crisp amoled display is simply stunning. The sleep analysis and sleep coach have been great tools as well, especially given how comfortable the watch is to sleep with. The only negative, and hopefully something they will fix with an update, is that the Venu 3 doesn't have a Mountain Biking app. Instead, I have to use their Cycling app and then change the activity to Mountain Biking in Garmin Connect. Not a huge inconvenience, but you would think a name synonymous with the great outdoors would include an MTB app, even on their more fashionable models.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Excellent Watch – Great for Fitness & Everyday Use!** I’ve been using my Garmin watch for a few months now, and I couldn’t be happier. The design is sleek and comfortable to wear all day, and the battery life is seriously impressive – I go several days without needing to charge it. The fitness tracking is super accurate. I use it for running, cycling, and strength training, and I love how detailed the data is. The GPS locks in quickly and tracks my routes perfectly. I also like that it tracks sleep, stress levels, and heart rate 24/7. One of my favorite features is how customizable everything is — from the watch face to the workout screens. The Garmin Connect app is user-friendly and gives a full picture of my health and performance. If you're looking for a reliable smartwatch that’s focused on fitness and doesn’t distract you with too many gimmicks, this is it. Totally worth the investment!

Everything about this device and the app is great. The watch has a wide variety of activities to choose from and there is so much health information provided. The app on the phone goes very in depth as far as heart rate, pace, gps data (which is very accurate), and a lot more. The badges and challenges help keep you motivated and the garmin coach feature will help you train to meet specific goal times for races. All of this without a paywall or monthly fee and I really hope it stays that way. Finally, I can’t end this review without mentioning the battery. This battery lasts. I don’t have fear or anxiety of the battery draining fast. If I only have 20% left I know that’s more than enough to get my workout done before needing to recharge it. I did get this watch on sale for $50 less. I just couldn’t justify buying it for full price. Other than that I definitely recommend this if you are interested.
