I have tried several smart watches and love the garmin Vivoactive! I had the three before upgrading to the 4s and I loved both, but I am really loving the smaller size of the 4s. The battery life is one of my favorite things about the garmins. They last for almost a week over the day most other smart watches get. Love!

It is a great watch, the battery life is on par on what is advertised. I like it for its multipurpose approach, if you like to run I'd suggest getting a forerunner since it has programs specific for running

I have an Apple Watch and I wasn’t sure what I was going to think of the Garmin, but I love it! It communicates with my Nike Run app, just like I wanted it to. I do wish that it could receive text messages like the Apple Watch, but it really wasn’t designed for the same purpose I mind. I highly recommend it!

I've had this watch for almost a year now. At first, it really helped me track my data and get a baseline for my fitness. After wearing it for a few months, I've noticed the software is buggy and does not always work as it should. Also, the resolution on the screen isn't the best. Overall 6 out of 10.

This watch is quite smaller than what you may see in the picture. I thought the picture quality was ok. Nothing wrong with this watch especially if you’re ok with the sport

My Vivoactive 4S Helps Me to be a Better Runner!

I previously had the Vivosmart (5 years ago), followed by the Vivoactive Music (1 1/2 years ago, and I broke it - my fault). I liked the stylish design of the Garmin Vivoactive 4S, and chose the grey band with silver bezel. It looks great and feels wonderful, even when I sleep. It's an easier set-up than my previous models. I click on my sport, and all the stats come up where I can actually read them while I'm running! It's full-color, and the graphics are really sharp. It cost more than I wanted to spend, but I have no regrets, as it's a great-looking sturdy watch, and easily tracks my steps, sports, heart rate, sleep, as well as having Garmin Pay, and the ability to play music. The Garmin app is fairly amazing, too. I love not having to write down miles, times, etc. I can look those things up really quickly. I have nothing negative to say about this great watch & fitness tracker!

Was looking for a watch with built in GPS and a watch to use while golfing. Still figuring things out like how to move, delete, create workout apps from phone to watch. So far working as good as I hoped

Screen cracked in Under 1 year. Garmin wants $150

I have owned this watch for a little over 1 year and the sapphire screen has already cracked in 2 places. Granted I wear this watch 24/7, through 4-5 workouts a week but isn't that the point? The touchscreen and water resistance still function as they should, but the cracks are an obvious eyesore. I reached out to Garmin to see what it would cost for repair and they responded back at the time of $150, not including shipping. Considering the technology of these becomes obsolete in about a year when a new model rolls out, paying half of the full price for a cosmetic repair seems silly. At any rate, I will probably drive this watch into the ground and then find a suitable alternative with a competitor that builds a more durable wearable.

I returned first Vivoactive 4s because of ding in the metal ring around the watchface. But, assumed the second one was defective because I couldn't get it paired. ForOnline help was useless and customer service chat was closed for Christmas. I kept trying & finally reset my router with watch & phone next to it as I turned them on. It finally paired! Now I am struggling with pulse ox. I turned it off and it started taking readings. Go figure. If it has more glitches I will be forced to return. Not a user friendly product. But when it works I love it.

It is a great smart watch! It keeps a charge for a long time, and the movement alarms have been very helpful, especially with COVID working from home.
