This is a great activity tracker and incentive to do chores as well. My daughter loves to try to beat her previous day's activity level and steps. I would highly recommend this to others. The bands are also easy to swap out. I found some that are more watch band type on Amazon that she loves to coordinate with her outfits.

Both of my kids have these and they love them. They are 7 and 10 years old. They like to see their amount of steps and I like to see their sleep hours. The bands are great! No falling off since there’s no clasps. They’re also waterproof. Great purchase.

I quickly read the specs of this product just before buying it, that was a mistake...it might be good for kids but not good enough for an adult, my wife bought it for her but the wristband was too tight. Also be aware that it uses a non rechargeable battery, so once it does you need to buy a new battery.

Having had a Fitbit myself, I actually prefer the Garmin. Purchased for my 8 year old who loves it. Great bc it tracks her activities, can be worn in the pool! Uploads tracking to the Garmin app, functions as a watch, tracks sleep and more. Well worth the price and no learning curve to use for a child.

It keeps you active, if you heed the warnings, lol. Truly, I didn't realize how inactive we were but being able to track it helps plenty. The wristband is small for my above average sized kid, but we were able to to use a vivofit 3 wristband as the device pops out of the band that comes with it.

Havent opened it yet. Its a christmas gift for my son who wanted a Fitbit like mine so we could challenge each other. From the reviews and the one I saw in the store, i think he will love it. I love the fact that its waterproof and can track chores. Gives him a little more independence and responsibility.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter, who wanted a FitBit. I knew a FitBit wouldn't fit her wrist. I love this product and the app that goes with it. It tracks her steps, her activity, and her sleep (both light and deep sleep), which I really like. I also really like how you can put chores in there.

I bought this for my 8 year old who is on the tall/ bigger side for xmas. I figured I should read the reviews before I wrap it up for him. Most said the tracker worked great but the band was too small. It is a band that u slip on and probably would have fit him 4 years ago but not now. We returned it.

Hello Lohrax123, thanks for reviewing the vivofit jr. We wanted to take an opportunity to address the band size concern that you had. The vivofit jr. band was designed to fit most 4-9 year olds. If the included band does not fit comfortably, the vivofit jr. app offers options to order replacement bands. For more information and instructions, please use the following FAQ link: https://support.garmin.com/faqSearch/en-US/faq/content/9L9m58yJfK9kWTP8zWvjr7. The vivofit jr. module will also fit inside a vivofit 3 band, which offers an adjustable band, and a locking clasp. Thank you again for your review. -JFH Garmin

We bought this for my 7yr Old, who had been asking for a watch. We love that she can not only use it as such, but also set timers for teeth brushing, count her steps throughout the day, and earn “coins” for doing chores around the house. Would definitely recommend this product!

My grandson loves having his own exercise tracker after envying mine for a couple years. He always knows the time and pays attention to his activity throughout the day. It's perfect to encourage development of lifelong habits of goal setting and exercise. We are very happy with the product. .

Bought this for my son because he really wanted a "fitbit" that would fit him. This is perfect for him! It keeps track of everything from his activity to how much sleep he's getting. Great reward system that shows him exactly what he needs to do in order to reach his goals for the day.

I purchased this for my son. It says it is from kids up to nine years old. Upon opening this would fit maybe maybe up to a 5-6 year old. We were not able to try it in store as it was in secured packaging.

We ultimately could not keep the Vivofit because it was snug on my six year old and wouldn't fit at all on my nine year old. We liked the features for the junior because they seemed to be age appropriate. In the end, we may get them the adult versions. I would recommend for younger children.

Staff member very helpful. Perfect for what my grandson was looking for(age 8) and he loves it! Helpful too, because he has a friend who has one like it in black. and he loves that. He is learning to tell time as well and it is great that it is battery-operated and does not need charging..

This is a very good product for a 6 to 10-year-old. It gets them motivated to get off their bottoms and move around the house and to play and count their steps and calories. It is a little small so if your daughter or son has ace large wrist may be tight on them

The activity tracker would be great if my son actually wore it. He is almost 6 and lost interest pretty quickly. It is a good tracker for what it is and survived a trip in the toilet. I would have gave it 5 stars but there is no back light so it makes it hard to read sometimes.

We bought this for our 6 year old daughter because she wanted to compete with mom for steps. She loves it!! It's easy for her to operate. It's comfortable on her wrist. She checks it often, and it gives her a feeling of accomplishment because she gets in way more steps than mom does.

... be warned, the band is SO SMALL. If your child is on the upper end of the age range or is anything other than super petite, be prepared to buy a different band. I was able to find compatible bands on Ebay, so I think it will all be ok. So I recommended it, but with that caveat.

The vivofit jr. is designed to fit the majority of children between the ages of 4 and 9 with its stretchable band. If you find that this product does not fit your child we recommend using the video below that walks through ensuring the proper band fit as well as the steps to obtain a larger band if this does not fit your child.

I purchased this activity tracker for my 8-year old daughter and she just loves it. There's not a day that goes by that she's not wearing it! It's a little snug for her wrist but I just heard there's bigger straps you can purchase.
