I got this to increase my awareness of my activities or lack of, each day and to track my sleep. While I am not happy with the inability to track stair climbing (I live on the 2nd floor), I am happy with the watch in general.
The heart rate tracker seems accurate and it does poke me to get up and move around more.
Can't comment on the social end of it since i am not linking up to a community.

I have small thin wrists so after much research, I thought this would be a good fit for me. And I was right! It is slim, nonbulky and does not get in the way of daily activities. I wear it 24/7 and no longer
wear a watch. Best of all, it does everything I want in a fitness tracker - sleep, steps taken, heart rate, pulse oximeter, etc.

So far, I love this product. It connects seamlessly to my phone and is easy to read and understand. I like the piece's look when I wear it; it looks good with my other jewelry.

This is the best Garmin Vivosmart yet. Very comfortable and easy to use. Just wish that Apple would allow for better connectivity with text messaging (can’t send text with an iPhone).

Garmin Vivosmart 4 Upgrade

This was an upgrade from a previous version (Vivosmart 3). It has many new features that I like. A few of the features may not be working as they should. It keeps track of a walk or a run, but the distance does not match my GPS tracker. At times it refuses to connect (Bluetooth) with my cell phone.

I had the Viviosmart 3 for a couple of years and the wristband broke so I purchased the new viviosmart 4. Its smaller and has more functions so I am happy with it. It was also less expensive than the 3.

Light, comfortable, very-functional activity tracker. The app presents the data from this watch nicely, and it can be configured to upload data automatically to a surprising number of fitness sites (in my experience, Strava, Training Peaks, MapMyFitness).
As I write this review, the watch is more than a year old, and looks like new despite some rough treatment, weather extremes, perspiration, regular washing.

Got this watch a month ago for my birthday and I love it. I don't use the more techy features much, but it's just what I need for activity tracking, sleep monitoring and heart rate measuring.

This tracker works well in almost every aspect. Heart rate seems to be pretty accurate. It pairs with my Garmin Connect, knows when I'm bicycling without me telling it. I'm not sure how accurate the sleep tracking is, only because I have never before measured, but it seems to be consistent. I also am not sure of the accuracy of the calories burned. I'm happy with the functions and would recommend it to others.

I love the minimalist design and it performs well on everything except GPS tracking. I do a lot of mountain biking with my husband and he has the bike mount Garmin. Every time we get done with a 20-mile ride he has a few more miles than me because it links to your phone which cuts corners.

Small, light-weight, and has sensors to track a variety of fitness activities. Steps, walks, running, swimming, heart rate, sleep along with buzzing you to get up and move on hourly intervals during waking hours. Using the charging cable may be frustrating at times, but the battery does last for a few days.

I bought this when I started cardio rehab. That way I'd be familiar with my goals when I finished and went to the gym on my own. I have been able to compare it's readings vs the hospital equipment so I am satisfied with the accuracy.
One con which brought it down to 4 stars. The band is not interchangeable. And I hadn't realized I could have bought a large version with a larger band. This one fits but has very little leeway.

This is my second Vivosmart 4. The band broke on the first one. hint: spend the 20 bucks for replacement insurance. The replacement show some improvements so I think this one will be less likely to bust the band. I like this style because I have small wrists and it looks like a watch, not like I’m wearing a phone. All the features I need are there, heart rate, sleep measurement, text and call alerts and lots of other features. Great value.

Syncs more reliably than my Fitbit, but reports about 15-20% fewer steps than Fitbit. Lighter and less noticeable on wrist than Fitbit Charge 3. Overall I like it better. Wish it had a more scratch-resistant screen.

This product gives you your steps and your heartbeat rate, You also get time and temperature. For athletes, there are a large number of features for timing your vigorous activities. Since I am a senior, my activities are limited to walking. And this works for that. But probably feature overkill for me. Syncs well. Feels and looks good.

This tracker design has held up for several years, much longer than my previous fit bit versions. Those fit bit designs broke with one year like clockwork.
The app is great, very intuitive. Best features i did not know I needed were tracking my sleep hours and my body battery. Exercise tracking can ne automatic or customized. Very happy with this product!
