Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the vívoactive 4 GPS Smartwatch's long battery life, which lasts up to 4 days, and its durability, which is more robust than an Apple Watch. They also appreciate the activity tracking feature and the onboard music storage. While some users wish it was smaller in size, overall, customers are pleased with the watch's screen, GPS tracking, and ease of use.

    Excellent watch for everything

I have had Samsung, will never use anything apple, ticwatch, fitbit, amazfit, etc. I keep coming back to Garmin. I simply cannot continue to have battery anxiety. If you use ANY smartwatch of any real signficance, say for example the samsung lineup, and you use it with all day frequency and you use everything it has to offer, you won't make it to the end of the day. I have concluded that I simply do not care to speak into my watch. I don't care to take calls on my watch. The Vivoactive 4 has great battery life, the vibration motor is excellent, I can pick up a call on the watch and it transfers instantly to a bluetooth in my ear or of course the phone itself. The heart rate is accurate and if you workout vigorously, it will show the calories burned reflecting the fact that you are. The harder you workout, the faster the calories will burn and show in real time unlike the samsung watch that will show calories burned at the exact same rate whether working out or standing still. Totally fake. The screen may be dimmer than a colorful and bright competitor watch, but it has an excellent backlight, but you can more so than not see it even without the backlight, and the screen is always on. No need to always be turning your wrist. Step count is accurate. Calories burned at end of the day are not only accurate, but far greater in actual number than the samsung or fitbit. Text and emails come in fast. It is light on the wrist, but built solid. Can handle any form of water - shower, swimming, etc. And the customer support is probably the best I have ever encountered. They are out of Kansas, and always knowledgeable and professional.

Overall this is a good watch and does everything I needed. There is two cons to this in my opinion. The step counter is accurate(logs steps when stuck in traffic) and the battery life isn’t great. I had to turn off some of the features I used to extend the battery life. The activity tracking is great when I go mountain biking.

The best fitness watch as of 2022

The best its going to get for a fitness watch. It looks fantastic in the daytime light. I get about a full day and a half with all the features on and thats fine. The only reason why I rate it 4 stars is the pulse ox. I get wild readings and compare it to my oximeter. Ive gotten 87% while my oximeter says 98%. I understand that its not going to be perfect, but I find it basically useless, one of the reasons Ive decided to get this watch was the all day pulse ox tracking. Ive gotten very low pulse ox during sleep, in the 70's which would be helpful if true, and probably going to invest in a sleep pulse ox if im having sleep breathing issues. But I think they are inaccuracies. Other than that, its a great outdoors watch.

The Vivoactive's have definitely improved from the ugly design of the original rectangular ones. If you're not a hardcore outdoors person that needs a Fenix, then the Vivoactive is for you. Better cost and better features that makes it closer to something similar to an Apple watch. The average user will appreciate the touch features, and the GPS is pretty good for recording outdoor activities to Strava or other similar apps.

Best smart watch I have owned. Good battery life, excellent features and a ton of different watch faces. Plenty of apps available and you can customize the watch to monitor just about anything you may need to monitor. Much better watch than my iWatch 5
