This is my 11th Garmin watch during the past ten years. The first 4 watches (with chest straps) were great, except the battery would die too fast after less than a year of normal wear. Then, the succeeding watches that I’ve purchased, besides the battery issue, became more inaccurate as technology supposedly progressed. I was mostly disappointed about the gross inaccurate heart bpm measurement and the erroneous calorie calculation. However, what determined me to NEVER purchase another Garmin product is its HORRIBLE technical support; totally disrespectful, inefficient, and unprofessional on all ten encounters with them!

I had an Apple Watch. I now have this vivoactive 4. I won’t go back. It’s really really good at tracking just about any physical activity you could want tracked. Highly customizable; I don’t even think I’m using it to its maximum potential. Seriously this is the best fitness tracker. You can’t even notice you’re wearing it most times and the sensors are just as accurate as a heart rate band worn around your torso (I tested this thoroughly).

Battery life is great. Lasts a little over a week..

This fitness tracker captures all the measurements I want and is watertight. I really couldn't ask for anything more from it. Be aware: battery life is 5 - 6 days and the watch is rather large. If you have a smaller wrist or hand you might want to get the Vivoactive 4S, which is a little smaller.

Best watch Garmin has for the average person. It has all the things you need for working out. It also has all that you need for everyday things. The touch screen has improved significantly from the vivio active 3. I love that it's water proof.

I had a vivoactive 3 for years. When it finally couldn't hold any more charge I got the 4. Garmin definitely added features that make this generation better. The customizable watch faces for your needs are awesome and so far this has been the best watch for rowing that I have found.

I have been using Apple Watch and wanted to try Gramin vivoactive 4s. I definitely like the appearance but the display is not clear and crisp as Apple Watch. Character display looks like they are 10 years behind in technology. The other positive about Gramin watch is it’s battery loge which lasts at least 3 days depending on light setting.

Very comfortable accurate counting except stairs climbed. Steps when completed days in a row that is counted off for you too see. This was a replacement for my older on that stopped working properly. So far so good.

The BEST smartwatch I've ever owned. Has so much athletic training functionality, very user friendly. Very accurate with capturing athletic activity. So so impressed!

I like how it looks classy enough to wear with a suit and also it has all the features for any training program! So in the morning you can do a workout with it and then at night you can wear it like a fancy watch with your outfit!!

Excellent watch. Would recommend this to anybody whos looking for a smart watch.

First "smart watch" love the weight and size of face. Wish there was an option to type a response to messages instead of presents. Decent watch for price point

This watch has been exactly what I’m looking for and more. I run outdoors just about every day and is spot on with the route and mileage. Comfortable to wear and looks nice. Highly recommend.

I was excited to feel like i was upgrading, but 5 year old technology is not new. Going to return soon.

Ordered this after reading many positive reviews. I did not see this item in the store prior so I did not know exactly what to expect. I was overjoyed by its aesthetics and functionality.
